I was sitting in the lounge, casually watching a film. All of a sudden my mobile phone started playing music, I jumped, I thought that it was my eleven year old brother Peter up to his old tricks again, but it wasn't. I stood up and slowly crept over to my phone, I looked at my phone screen, my music player had been turned on. I turned my music off and I realised that I had a message. I instantly checked it, my best friend Emily, who I had known for seven years had sent me a text message saying ' hey girl, i know that you probably know already but there's a party at mine this Saturday and your obviously invited. Call me when you have the chance, you have been acting so weird lately.' I didn't know how to respond. Should I be kind and polite and respond to the invitation and then ask her what she means by acting weird lately or just cut to the chase and question her about what she meant by acting weird and forget about the invitation. I decided that the best way to respond would to be kind and polite so that is what I did. ' hey Emily, I would love to attend your party this Saturday. Is their any dress style and what time does the party begin? I'm sorry if it seems to you that I have been acting so weird lately, although what do you mean by weird?' I wasn't going to stand around and wait so I decided to do the right thing before a party, go and find an outfit and hope that it fits the dress style before she replies.
