[Thomas exits the house]
Thomas: (Opens the front door; to his mom) I'll be back soon! (Closes the door)
Christa: Hey Thomas!
Thomas: Wah! (Falls down) Christa? When did you come here?
Christa: About three minutes ago
Thomas: (Stands up) Three minutes?! Man, you must be really fast
[Later, at the park]
Christa: Okay, there's something I want to show you, Thomas (Shows Thomas a video) This is what happened last night (Plays the video)
*The video shows Christa preparing for a livestream as she sits on her chair, when suddenly a cast of fire appears on her hand as she sets her desk on fire. Screaming, she runs out of the house. She pauses the video*
Thomas: (Shocked) Woah! What was that?!
Christa: It appears that I've developed this weird fire power last night, and I couldn't tell what it is...
Thomas: What do you think happened to it?
Christa: Well days ago, it wasn't like this. But last night, it was really bad
Thomas: Oh wow...
Kion: (Off-screen) That's because you've developed a VK power
Thomas: Huh? Oh, Kion
Kion: I heard that someone is mentioning about fire powers?
Christa: Oh um...Thomas, who is this boy?
Thomas: That's Kion, if I have to guess it correctly, but he's kinda like a ordinary gothic boy...right?
Kion: Not really...
Thomas: (Being creepy to Kion) Or really gothic...
Kion: Thomas, can you hush it down?
Thomas: Right, sorry
Kion: It seems here that you've developed a power called: VK Fire
Christa: VK Fire?
Kion: That's right. You see, VK Fire is a move where a person launched a fire attack
Christa: Wow, that sounds...amazing!
Kion: Since, when did you developed it?
Christa: Yesterday
Kion: Yesterday?
Christa: Yeah. Last night, when I was about to do another livestream, and all of a sudden. This happened (Shoots a fireball, setting the tree on fire) Oops!
Thomas: Woah!
Kion: Yeah, you need to practice more of your aiming today
[It cuts to the three with a target in front of them]
Kion: Go ahead and shoot your fire attacks at this target
Christa: Alright (Shoots a fireball, but misses) What?! I miss!
Kion: Focus only on the target
Christa: Alright, here goes again (Shoots another fireball, but hits at another tree) Grr! I keep missing the attack!
Kion: Just only focus on the task and shoot it accurately on the target
Christa: Alright then
[After numerous practices, Christa ends up not hitting the target]
Christa: Grr! I've try many times and it's not working!
Kion: Maybe you just haven't mastered it yet. You just need to practice more
Christa: Even if I do, then I'll just end up missing every attack that I do
Kion: Well, that's your opinion
Christa: So, what now?
Thomas: Well...
*Suddenly, the monster from before appears in front of them*
Thomas: Not that thing again!
Christa: What? Could it be? (Has a flashback seeing the monster from the hospital) Back from the hospital last night?
Kion: everyone, stay back!
*The monster attacks them with its punches*
Kion: (Casts a shield) You guys go!
Thomas: Wait, but-
Kion: GO!
*Thomas and Christa flee the scene, with Kion defending himself*
Thomas: What do we do Christa?
Christa: I think I need to go there and save him!
Thomas: What? No! You can't stop that thing!
Christa: Maybe I won't know for sure if I at least try!
Thomas: But, how are you going to beat that thing?
Christa: (Casts a fireball) With a fireball of course
Thomas: Huh?
*Kion is still defending himself against the monster, as the shield gets more weaker, with the monster finally destroying it*
Kion: I can't use my shield at full power now, I have to conserve some energy (Dodges the monster's attacks) Okay now! (Attempts to cast another shield, until Christa intervenes)
Christa: (Off-screen) Hey! Big brain! Over here!
Kion: Fool! What are you doing?! GET OUT!
Christa: Take this! VK...(gaining energy)
*The monster sprints at her*
Christa: FIRE! (Launches a fireball and hits directly at the monster, defeating it) Boom baby! I defeated my first monster with a VK power! Boom!
Kion: Well, I am impressed
Thomas: nice job, Christa!
Christa: Thanks you two
*Later*
Kion: Well, I'm going now. See you later you two (Walks away)
Thomas: See ya. (Sigh)
Christa: Something wrong Thomas?
Thomas: Nope, it's just that...
[Flashback showing Thomas attempting to use VK]
Thomas: (Watching the video while learning to perform VK, which he's still having trouble with) UGH! This is all he does?! Why do you got to be so dang smart about it, Kion?
*Attempting to use VK, but failed*
Thomas: Grr! (Collapses to the ground) It's not working
[End of flashback]
Thomas: I've been trying to use VK ever since I first met Kion, but I haven't developed any powers yet...
Christa: Oh, is that true?
Thomas: Yes...
Christa: Do you think you'll have one soon?
Thomas: Probably...if I ever want to become a hero...
Christa: Wow...
Thomas: Hey, tell you what? How about we keep our relationship a secret from my friends alright?
Christa: Huh?
Thomas: I'm sure they won't even notice us, so let's just keep this a secret alright?
Christa: Alright then, you got it (Smiles)
Thomas: That's great
Christa: Anyways, I better get going. I got some gaming to do. Bye, Thomas! (Runs home)
Thomas: See ya (Waves goodbye to her) Alright then, I better go do some shopping (Walks away)
