I sat by the window of our classroom, lost in thought, barely registering what the teacher was saying. My mind wandered far from the lesson, weighed down by recent events.

After our victory in the Football Frontier, the entire Raimon Junior High soccer team returned to campus as heroes.
The moment we arrived, we were swarmed by students. Excited voices filled the air as they bombarded us with questions, asked for autographs, and crowded around us. It was overwhelming.
"I gotta go! I forgot something in my bag-sorry, bye!" I stammered, using the excuse to escape the chaos.
Without waiting for a response, I sprinted away as fast as I could.
I made my way to the soccer club room, flinging the door open and leaning against it, trying to catch my breath. That's when I noticed Endou, Kidou, and Gouenji were already there.
The trio turned to look at me, and for a moment, the four of us just stared at each other before bursting into laughter.
"[F/N]!" Endou grinned
"Let me guess-you ran away from the crowd too" he added
"Yeah, that's right," I admitted, still catching my breath
"And you three? Same reason?" I asked
"Exactly" Kidou said with a smirk
"We didn't have much of a choice" Gouenji added
The four of us laughed again, the tension easing as we shared the moment.

The match between Raimon Junior High and Barcelona Orb had ended, and it wasn't the outcome anyone had hoped for. Barcelona Orb crushed Raimon with a devastating score of 13-0.
The team was exhausted, both physically and emotionally. You were no exception. As [L/N] [F/N], a versatile player who could take on the roles of forward, midfielder, or defender, the loss weighed heavily on you.

The entire Raimon soccer team was called to the school office, where a man with gray hair was waiting for them. His presence felt authoritative, and his words carried weight.
"To create a strong team of Japan's representatives in the near future, I want you to bolster the soccer abilities of players across the country," the man began
"That's where revolutionaries like you will be born. Over there is a list of schools I want you all to transfer to" he added
"Huh? Hang on a second! What will happen to the Raimon soccer club then?" Endou asked, clearly alarmed
"Since you'll all be serving the greater cause of spreading Raimon's genes across the country, the Raimon soccer club will be temporarily disbanded" the man replied
"Temporarily disbanded?!" Everyone was shocked
"Raimon is undoubtedly a strong team," the man continued
"But this is an issue that concerns the entirety of Japanese soccer. Even if we mobilized all of Japan's power and formed a representative team now, we wouldn't stand a chance against overseas teams"
"That's how high the wall of the world is! Don't you want to see it? To see Japan face off against the strongest teams in the world?"
"The world..." Kazemaru murmured
"Strengthen Japan..." Gouenji added
"The will to never give up" Kidou said thoughtfully
"Spread the Raimon spirit... huh?" Endou said, his resolve growing
"Will you do it?" the man asked
"We'll make Japan strong enough to fight the world! Okay!" Endou declared
The team echoed his enthusiasm, but then the man added "All of you will transfer to other schools to fulfill this mission-except for [L/N] [F/N]. You will remain here at Raimon"
"Huh?!" Everyone exclaimed in unison
"Why? Why is only [F/N] staying at Raimon?" Kidou demanded
"Kidou's right! Why me?! Why am I the only one staying at Raimon?" [F/N] asked
"I'm not saying I don't want to stay here-I love this school-but everyone else is transferring to spread the Raimon spirit. And now you're saying the soccer club will be disbanded."
"Does that mean I can't play soccer with them anymore? Does that mean I'm not strong enough to teach others? Am I not enough to spread the Raimon spirit? Why?! I don't understand!" [F/N] exclaimed, my voice trembling with frustration
her teammates looked at her with concern, their expressions mirroring her own confusion.
"Actually, you are more than enough, [L/N]" the man said calmly
"But there's a reason I want you to stay here."
"What reason?" Kazemaru asked
"You'll know when the time is right" the man replied cryptically
After the meeting, the team gathered in front of the soccer club room
"Why do we all have to separate? I'm against this!" Someoka said angrily
"Besides, I'm not sure I could teach anyone" Kabeyama admitted, looking unsure
"Same here" Max added.
"And it's still a mystery why only [F/N] is staying behind. We can't deny she's a great player" Kazemaru said, frowning
Before anyone could respond, you stood up abruptly. "I forgot something in my classroom," you said, forcing a smile
"I'll be back" Without waiting for a reply, you ran off in the opposite direction of your classroom.
"Isn't [F/N]'s classroom this way? Then why did she run that way?" Endou asked, confused
"She's obviously lying" Kidou said
"We can't blame her" Gouenji said quietly
"This isn't easy for any of us"
