A week has passed after Mason accepted me. I've been helping Mason deal with his clients. I've met various people, the same as I describe from 21 Jumps Streets; motorbikes gangs, gangsters, and more. I met a homeless person wearing tattered clothes, unkempt hair, and an unpleasant smell; no offense. It was heartbreaking to see it, and I think he was using all of his money to do drugs. I don't get why homeless people use all their money to buy weed. Is it to get rid of their sorrows? But the past deals I've done, Mason kept his words by being there with me and keeping me safe from his clients. When his clients tried to touch me, Mason instantly canceled their deal. He was severe by keeping me safe. Well, that's a start. He paid me a good amount of money too.
From my experience, I used it for Stephanie's information for the case. Of course, I wouldn't forget about it.
"Wow, this is a lot. How did you manage?" Stephanie asked while she typed her laptop.
"Let's just say I was spying on Mason," I answered, misleading the fact to her. I can't tell her the truth that I was dealing drugs with Mason.
Simon watched for me every time I met with Mason's clients, well from afar. Mason doesn't know that Simon is following us, just if anything happened. Thankfully nothing happened while meeting Mason's clients. They all just traded the drugs with money and left like the clients never met us. Whenever I met Mason's clients, I always prepared myself for anything.
One thing about me, a girl, dealing drugs with Mason's clients does attract more clients. The first day I sold drugs, tomorrow added one more client. And the next day, the clients increased, and they bought more drugs from us. That's why I was paid fairly.
"I don't know what to say," Stephanie finished typing her laptop, "we manage to identify his buyers. But we still have no clue about the mastermind."
I stared at my room's ceiling. I've never heard Mason mention the mastermind. The actual supplier, "Mason didn't say anything about his supplier, but maybe I'll try asking him. If he is willing to answer."
"Very much helpful information you gave me, it's an excellent decision to choose you," she closed her laptop and smiled towards me.
It's been a challenging week. Thinking back, Stephanie used an excuse for replacing David for me. But she might learn her lesson, and she didn't manipulate me ever since that day.
"By the way, you're coming to tomorrow's Halloween party, right?" Stephanie mentions the Halloween party.
"Of course I will, but which Halloween party are you talking about?" I asked her because many places host Halloween parties. The Halloween party is always held in frat houses or clubs, and I always went to frat-house Halloween parties cause I don't do clubs. They scared me, and the vibes are just different from frat parties.
The club is full of unfamiliar people, and It feels uncomfortable except with my friends. That's why I came a lot to frat houses because I know most of the people in clubs are adults, older adults, underage teenagers. But some things that stay the same are smelly, drunk, unconscious people.
"The frat house, of course, or do you have something in mind?" she asks me, wiggling her eyebrows. What is she trying to say? Does she want to hang out with me?
"There are clubs just like you do as always with the girls, but I don't do clubs," I replied, but instantly realizing what she said, "wait, frat house? You're going to frat house now?"
She shrugged, "No, not really. If David didn't suggest me, I wouldn't go."
Of course, David. What was I thinking? I can't make her interested in going to a frat house to hang out with her more. I also noticed that she has been hanging out with David for the past few days. She said they're 'Friends,' but I'm sure David wants more than friends.
