Alexander's pov
I was just walking around to get familiar with the office, when I decided to try and talk to Amara. I understand why she doesn't want to talk to me but why hold it against me and it's not like I had a say in it. So like cards I decided to try my luck.
I knocked on her door and she calmly answered for me to come in (not like she knew who was at her door) a voice chimed in. As she looked up her face fell.
Amara: What do you want sir?
Alexander: No need to be formal, aren't we friends?
Amara: Used to or that's what I thought
I went closer to her desk
Alexander: You do know I had nothing to do with this right. Why would I tell you to go out of your comfort zone to make a fool of you?
Amara: Because you're rich and you can do anything in this world that pleases you and like your stupid mom said I'm not of your class, I shouldn't have hoped for anything different and why am I talking to you about this anyway. I have things to do like planning your father's going away party and you welcoming party in one. What would you want it to be like?
Alexander: You know what I like why don't you use your skill surprise me. I know you won't disappoint.
I got up and locked the door smiling at least she said part of her mind I would have to wait about a few weeks before bring up the topic again.
