"What are you doing here?" Jalal's voice, calm yet dangerous, sent shivers down Binafa's spine. This was not the same Jalal she remembered—gone was the jovial, cool guy she once knew, replaced by a hardened man, brimming with disdain.

"Booboobear, do you know her? Who is she?" Jalilah's voice, sweet and innocent, snapped Binafa's attention toward her. The pet name stung her heart; she still loved Jalal-so intensely it hurt. Hearing another woman address him with affection was unbearable, jealousy simmering in her chest. How dare this girl marry him, her Jalal? She barely contained her frustration, feeling a hot wave of anger at the mere thought of them being intimate.

"She was the cause of it all! She was the reason behind my misery." His voice was controlled, but the tension in his face betrayed his restraint. Sensing his anger, Jalllah hurried to his side, wrapping him in a comforting hug, gently patting his back.

"Relax, Booboobear, okay? Take a deep breath." She whispered softly, pulling back but keeping their fingers entwined, offering him her unwavering support.

The sight tore at Binafa. She wiped away a lone tear, guilt overwhelming her. If only she had acted differently, Jalal would still be hers, and Jalilah would never have come near him, let alone married him. In desperation, she dropped to her knees, clasping her hands together as tears streamed down her face.

"Please, find it in your heart to forgive me. Please, Laal." Her voice was barely a whisper, broken and remorseful. Jalal's eyes closed tightly upon hearing the name-Laal. Once, it had brought him joy, but now, it only stoked his anger. How dare she address him with such familiarity?

When he opened his eyes, a dark fury filled his gaze, chilling Binafa and even unsettling Jalilah. His teeth ground together in barely contained rage, and Jalilah swore she had never seen him like this before; he was a storm barely held in check.

"How dare you address me like that after all you did? Get out. Now, Binafa!" He thundered, his voice dripping with contempt.

"Booboobear-"

"Stay out of it, Jalilah!" His roar silenced her, and the way he used her name instead of the endearment made her heart sink. But she couldn't stay out of this. Jalal was her husband, and she had every right to know the pain behind his fury.

"How can I stay out of this, Booboobear? You're my husband! Don't you think I deserve to know what's going on?"

"Don't!" He uttered in a low, dangerous tone, eyes shut, as if struggling to hold back a storm.

"I'll tell you everything." Binafa's voice trembled, and she cast one more pleading look at Jalal, who met her gaze with unwavering disdain. Unable to bear that look, she tore her eyes away and began.

"Jalal was my ex-husband." Jalilah's face went pale. Her balance faltered, and Jalal immediately reached out to steady her. She stared at him, unblinking, as she struggled to comprehend what she had just heard. How had she never known?
Why had no one-family or friends—ever mentioned this marriage? First, it was about Janaan, and now Jalal.

Binafa settled onto a couch, and Jalal and Jalilah did the same, his hand tightly squeezing hers in silent reassurance.

"You probably don't remember," Binafa began with a sad smile. "You were so young then." She let out a bitter laugh, recalling the past.
