"Tony, this is a ridiculous idea. It's not who I am." I sat in a tux as I waited with Tony. He had this ridiculous notion that I needed to start dating; that I spent too much time moping about the compound. I was only ever in love with one woman, and she died long ago. I found it hard connecting to someone new. So Tony came up with this idea he saw on tv. He found 6 girls to move into one house with me for me to get to know and date; and ultimately choose one.

"Come on Cap! It will be fun. Do you have any idea how many men would kill to be in your position? 6 women all vying for your attention?"

I groaned, "I'm not most men Tony. I prefer things one on one. I like to get to know a girl."

Tony shook his head, making Steve stand up, "you'll be fine. It'll be fun. I promise." He looked out the window, "come on, the girls are coming."

I looked down, "did I have to wear this ridiculous get up?"

Tony groaned, "stop complaining and look."

I followed Tony to the front of the house as a limo pulled up. This was land I already owned. He helped me to build the house that I would someday live in with a woman I chose to settle down with. I apparently was taking too long to find said woman so he decided to take matters into his own hands. Tony was always meddler. I sighed as I watched the woman exit the limo one by one, lining up in front of me. I felt myself blush at them looking at me, as if I were the one on display. One girl with green eyes looked surprised to see me; as if she wasn't told who the guy would be. I locked eyes with her, seeing her blush as well before looking at the ground. I smiled, being introduced to all the women:

Tamara is 26 and an attorney. She is tall with long dark hair.
Sandra is 24 and a single mother who works as a waitress. She has short chestnut brown hair.
Allison is 29 and a chef. She has long blonde hair.
Kelly is 24 and owns a coffee shop. She has short, shoulder length blonde hair.
Melody is 25 and a nurse. She has long mahogany hair.
Hailey is 22 and a model. She is tall with long blonde hair.

I smiled as the women introduced themselves, feeling as if I was going to throw up from being so nervous. I hoped they didn't take my nervousness for discontent, or that I didn't find them all attractive. Because they were, all in their own ways.

"Ladies. Now that you've met Mr. Rogers, I'll get someone to take your bags to your rooms. You will have to double up."

I watched all the women nod and smiling at their roommates as we were all ushered to the back patio. Tony had music playing softly and had champagne sitting out. I watched all the girls accept a glass. I didn't bother since I can't get drunk anyways. It made me wish Thor was around, he was the only one that could get me drunk and I needed something to calm my nerves. The model came up to me first, she was obviously the most confident in the bunch.

"Hailey, right?"

She nodded, "yes."

She held out her hand which I shook delicately. "So you're a model?"

Again, she nodded, but didn't say anything.

I watched her for a minute, "so what do you like to do for fun Hailey?"

She thought for a minute, "I like to go to the beach. Volleyball. I run a lot."

I nodded, sighing as I grabbed a champagne glass, downing it in one drink. I looked up to see Melody looking at me, giggling at me drinking it down quickly. I smiled at her and she smirked as she looked away. I got to spend a bit of time with each girl, engaging in small talk. I loathe small talk. I was a bit disappointed I didn't get more time with the girl with enchanting green eyes. I was thankful when it was time to call it a night and I got to retire to my own room, alone. I changed quickly out of the penguin suit Tony forced me to wear and put on sweats.

I paced in my room after changing into pajamas for the night. I couldn't sleep.

"Are you okay?"

I looked up at my beyond gorgeous roommate, wondering what the heck was I doing here. "I'm fine. This is just all kind of a lot, isn't it?"

She nodded, "it's a little weird. Definitely not something I've ever done before. Or considered before. But come on, it's Captain America."

I laughed nervously, "right." I grabbed my sketchbook and pencils, "I'm gonna go find someplace quiet to draw." I watched her nod as she laid on her bed. The three bedrooms that the girls shared were upstairs, on the other side of the house as Steve's room. I went downstairs, finding the sitting room empty. I sighed, sitting on the couch, pulling my knees up to rest my book on as I began to draw.

I couldn't sleep after the events of the day and meeting all the girls. I went down to the kitchen to grab a water bottle. I saw the light in the sitting room on. I peeked in to find one of the girls asleep, a sketch pad on the ground in front of her; her fingers stained with charcoal. I picked it up to see a sketch of me. It was incredibly detailed considered we had just met. I knew she was going to be different. I smiled, setting the pad on the coffee table as I laid a blanket over her, brushing hair out of her face before I turned off the light. I went back to my own room, turning on the light over my art table as I pulled out my own pad.
