What is this feeling?

|| Vegito's POV ||

It was a day no like the others. I have finally moved in with a good friend of mine, Gogeta. We've known each other since highschool. We've both got jobs and are living happily. But something seemed different today..

I was on the couch playing on my phone. It was Saturday, the days we both don't have work. I heard creaking from the bedroom hallway as the shorter male with frizzy blonde hair came into the light yawning. He had his shirt off that showed his muscular torso and arms yet I was used to this, but something in my heart fluttered as my cheeks turned a light pink. Why was I feeling this way? I wondered.

"Well, uh, morning shirtless." I said smiling a bit.

"Oh, hey, Vegito." The blonde male said walking to the kitchen to get something to eat. I put my phone down and sat on on of the stools that sat next to the counter.

"Did ya sleep well? You slept in pretty late. It's almost 11am." I said putting my elbow on the counter top and resting my head against my hand looking at him.

"Oh really? It is?" He looked at the clock on the stove and noticed it was 10:53am. "Damn, I guess I did. Guess I just didn't get enough sleep in the previous nights." He explained.

"Ah, I see. Maybe you should get more sleep. Heh." I laughed a little.

"That would be nice, but you know how crazy our work schedule is.." he grabbed a protein bar as his snack since he isn't willing to cook something simple. He opened it and began to eat it as he turned and faced towards me leaning against the counter.

I stared at him fondly not realizing I was doing it. I let out a soft sigh and continued to smile. Our eyes soon met as I snapped out of my gaze upon him with my cheeks slightly flushed.

"Whatcha staring at?" He said cluelessly.

"Oh uh nothing, just zoning out." I said sitting straight up. The sound of his voice rattled through my bones.

"Oh, then what we're thinking of?" He said tilting his head cocking an eyebrow.

"You..." I began to say as I realized what I was saying. "..re uh your sleeping schedule! Yea!.." my face was a bright red at this point from embarrassment.

"You don't have to worry about me, I mean it's nice to know that you care about me, but I'm fine a little no sleep isn't going to harm me." He smiled softly looking at me. That's when my heart was struck.

"Hehe..yea." I said with my face a little red. "Uh, I'll be right back." I got up and headed towards the bathroom. Walking in I looked at myself in the mirror and questioned myself. What and why was I feeling this way? I held onto my pink flushed cheeks and then it hit me. I liked him! Not just like him, but like like him! 'Alright just play it cool' I'd think to myself as I walk out of the bathroom.

He was sitting on the couch watching TV as I began to creep behind him. I smirked and shortly I jumped towards him grabbing onto his shoulders.

"Boo!" I yelled trying to scare him. He jumped a bit and let out a small yelp as he turned to look at me. He clearly looked annoyed as he punched me in the arm playfully.

"Don't do that, you jerk!" He said to me as I chuckled smiling at him.

"Pfft- haha! Sorry, sorry! I had too. It was just too funny!" I said laughing taking a seat next to him. He was pouty for a bit, but his mode changed shortly. As I sit next to him I tried my best not to stare. I mean who wouldn't stare at him he's hot! Anyways, things were normal for the rest of the day except the part that I was crushing on him, but that's fine. Maybe I'll make it work who knows.
