That One Game: Truth or Dare

Prologue

Emily's P.O.V

"Liam, I'm really going to miss you." I said

"I know Emily. You have to come see at least two of the shows."

"Of course Li, I wouldn't miss it for the world."

My name is Emily Torres. I'm 16 years old. I have brown hair. I have brown eyes. My best friend is Liam Payne. Yes. The Liam Payne is my best friend. Go ahead freak out. We've known each other since the diaper days. Our parents are really good friends. Liam's leaving to go audition for X factor.

"Li, please dont forget about me when your a super famous mega star."

"Super famous mega star? You never know, I might get sent home."

"Are you kidding me?! You've improved so much its crazy."

"Thanks and I could never forget my little Emily." He chuckled.

"Um excuse me? Little? I don't think so. You are only one day older than me thank you very much.

"Ok whatever helps you sleep at night." He teased.

I could tell he was extremely nervous. To be honest, so was I. I was nervous he would get caught up with his career and forget about me. Forget our incredibly long best friend relationship. I could only hope for the best. For us and for him. In 2008 he tried out but things didn't work out. He was crushed. I didn't want that to happen again.

"Go show them you've improved so much. I'll be watching every single performance on tv. That's a promise. Promise me one thing though. Promise me you will Skype, call, text, or anything at least once a day. Keep in contacts so I know I'm not forgotten."

"I could never forget you Emi. Bye, I'll miss you so much."

"Bye Li, I'll miss you too."

With that he got into the car and was off. I'm really going to miss him. I'm not going to break my promise though. I hope he doesn't break his. One can only hope.
