the beginning

(Silence) absolute silence is what I woke up to on the morning of july 5 2026. the night before was a blast the best day of my life I got my first kiss and the fireworks where as good as there ever going to get. then this every body frozen in one place. stuff people started to drop just frozen in place. The night before I thought I heard something on the news about a meteor shower . I don't know but I think that was the cause but....how

(Two days earlier)

I was in Hawaii for the summer and it was around the fourth of July later that week I met the most beautiful girl ever. I heard the fire works were supposed to be best in the world . I was sitting on the beach with my girlfriend and we were watching the fire work then it all got black. next morning I woke up in a motel  bath tub holding a bottel of scotch with a screaming head ech then. I look out the window and all I see is frozen lifeless people like some one put the world on pause.

I decided it was probably just a bad dream so I went to lay down and that's all I did I couldn't sleep with this head ech. so I went for walk to the drug store and couldn't help but here a raido say that there were no fire works at all there were metroits!.
