"You're highness, its time to wake up"Joanne states calmly, she is always like that but I've learned not to mind it as she knows me better than anyone. "Mmm...." I yawning getting off my bed, "I'm up Joanne" I say washing my face "miss, you have to start getting ready in a hour please, have your breakfast.Would you like it in your room or the dining room?" Joanne questions, "well i guess in my room since I'm sure brother Arnold will be in the dining room...haha" Joanne angrily mumbles something I can't hear "ok....".

"ISN'T THIS ENOUGH" i almost yell at the maids trying to tighten my corset, "your highness just bear it a little longer" Joanne states sternly and I comply because I know she won't settle for my whining when I have my debutante in 3 hours "wearing it everyday doesn't make it comfortable you know" I grumble
"Finally" Joanne says with a warm expression, I chuckle at her happiness looking in the mirror finally seeing myself "WHAT.... Who would ever believe this is me.....wow" I look in the mirror seeing a beautiful green dress and pale skin matching my scarlet hair and Joanne's necklace which she hasn't seen yet. "You're highness , it's time to go" Joanne says "mhm" i mumble worriedly.

"HER HIGHNESS ELLE OF VIRIDIA ENTERS" they announce all eyes toward me clearly judging how I don't have a escort "this is scarier than I thought...." I think to myself. I look around hoping they At least aren't missing my debutante and of course they where "your highness" my father the emperor's right hand says to get my attention "the royal family- ah I apologise his majesty and her majesty will be late as crown prince Arnold is still not back from his trip to the capital I hope u aren't bothered by this." He ended his sentence so well I didn't even have time to ask anything, I know why he stopped saying royal family it's because no one considers me to be or at least my family doesn't... "may I ask for your first dance your highness?" Ah another one trying to become a duke as no one dares fight the crown prince, I'd accept but I have no wish to go into the hands of power hungry nobles when I have no one to protect me but I do have something to protect for myself.
The night quietly ends mostly uneventful , Oh. One thing happen my family didn't show up until the last hour and as always none of the nobles questioned it shifting Their honey coated word to the emperor, well not that I expected anything "his majesty haha.?" I always thought this titles were funny but they seem especially funny today seeing the man who always despised me and planned to marry me away act like he cared so much that he RAN TO THE BALLROOM hahahaha..... that must have been the funniest thing that has ever happened to me oh, how can I forget my mother who likes my half brother so much she spends all day finding new ways to kill me to secure his position and of course the cherry on top Arnold ah he just hates me since he thinks I'll steal his title, it's funny how much people care about those petty things......

"YOUR HIGHNESS!" Joanne screams apparently I fell asleep in the garden and got a fever haha sorry Joanne.
