Lonnie was frantically looking for a gift to give Gabe for his upcoming birthday. She'd known him for a while and she needed it to be special. She always thought "a special person needs a special gift" but it was much more challenging than she'd thought. She thought that maybe this year would be the year she finally told him that she thought she liked him. She was worried because at school he was more of a popular guy while she was more of a loner who never went to parties. "He'd be too embarrassed to be seen with me" she thought out loud while laying on her bed. she turned on her phone and saw a text from Gabe. Her face lit up and she opened his message.
the text read 'hey wyd' lonnie replied with. 'nothing why'. He immediatley read the text and called her. "hey do you want to go somewhere" "oh sure where do you want to go" "youll see. ill be there in five minutes" and with that Gabe hung up. Lonnie quickly got dressed and waited outside for Gabe. She heard the music playing in his car before he got in the drive way. "so are you going to tell me where we are going" she asked as she got in the car.
Gabe was a man of mystery and Lonnie was very intrigued by him. His beautiful brown hair was another reason she was interested in him. He looked at her and smiled. "I can't tell you that would be like ruining a surprise!" Gabe laughed. His smile was perfect. Lonnie smiled and looked at him. She was excited no matter where she was going. She felt safe as long as she was with him. Gabe began driving and they were singing songs and dancing. Lonnie loved Gabes bubbly personality and loved how he treated her. The music was turned off and Gabe grabbed Lonnies face. "You need to close your eyes were here." Lonnie did as she was told and Gabe got out of the car. He was a true gentleman and opened the door for her and grabbed her hand guiding her to the place they were at. "Okay Lonnie.. open your eyes." Lonnie had never seen anything so beautiful. Gabe had taken her to a small cliff where the stars were beautiful. "Oh Gabe!! This is gorgeous!" Lonnie said with excitement. "It's not as gorgeous as you are, Lonnie." Gabe said with a shy smile. Lonnie was shocked and she jumped into his arms. She looked up as him as he looked down at her. They shared a passionate kiss before sitting down. Lonnie rest her head on Gabe's shoulder.
