The Story

The Tree Grows Leaves, The Leaves Float Away In The Wind.

The Leaves Fall Away From The Tree, Not Toward It.

The Leaves Do Not Realize What The Tree Did For Them, And Never Think About The Tree Did For Them.

A Leaf Lands Near Another Tree, Is Welcomed, Then Becomes Friends.

The Tree That Helped Grow The Leaf Is Lonely, And Knows The Leaf Will Never Realize What The Tree Did For It.

The Tree Saved The Leaf When It Started To Wither Away; Shrivel Up And Die.

The Tree Turned The Leaf Into A Healthy Leaf Again.

The Leaf Left The Tree, And Made The Tree Sad.

The Tree Helped The Leaf When None Of All Of The Other Trees Or Leaves Did, And The Leaf Never Thanked Or Realized What The Tree Did For It.

The Tree Felt Like It Would Always Be The Leaves Last Pick To Talk To, After All Of Its New Friends Stopped Talking To Him.

Message Behind The Story: Sometimes When Someone Is Hurting And You Help Them, They Will Forget About You. They Will Go On To Their Other Friends And Talk To Them Instead. When Everyone Turns Against Him, Bullys Him, And Neglects Him, You Comfort Him. When His Friends Accept Him For A Little While Again, He Will Leave And Leave You There Feeling Lonely. Everybody Hurts Sometimes; We Are Just Human. We Don't Have To Be Something We Dread If We Prevent It All From Happening. We Have Control Over Our Lives, Even Though Sometimes It Does Not Feel That Way. Sometimes We Feel Lost But Remember This Phrase; "I Asked God Why He Has Been Taking Me Through Rough Waters, And He Responded: "I Do This Because Your Enemies Cannot Swim." I Don't Know How You Feel, And You Don't Know How I Feel. The World Might Be Crazy Right Now, But I Would Definitely Sit Next To You If The World Was Ending.
