We were all back together, but Beth. We were walking when we heard a man yelling for help. I don't know if it's an instinct or what to run to whomever is screaming for help, but that's what we all did.

"Please help me!" Carol was the first to kill one of the several walkers that surrounded a rock with a man on top of it. When we had them all killed the man climbed down, "thank you. I am Gabriel, would you like to come back to my church with me?"

"Do you have food?" I asked.

                       "Yes," he answered.

Dad hesitated, "dad, he has food. We haven't ate in days. Judith has to eat, we all do or we'll get weak and die," I said.

"Okay, lead the way," dad said.

"What are you doing out here without a weapon?" Daryl asked.

"I was looking for more supplies. This is the farthest I've gone since the start. I'm a man of God," he said.

"In this world you should always have one. No telling who or what you'll run into. It doesn't matter if your a man of God anymore. It's kill or be killed," I said.

He looked at me and smiled, "I don't kill the innocent nor do I kill at all."

"That's crazy and you should be dead by now. No offense, Father," Daryl said being a smartass. I looked at him then to dad. I could tell dad didn't trust him, but then again none of us really did.

I stood next to dad, "dad, we'll be okay. He has food."

                                          "I know," dad said.

Gabriel looked at me and smiled, Daryl must've seen it because he came and stood closer to me. Gabriel didn't lie, he had food, just not a lot. We decided then we needed more, "there's a food pantry, just past the school house," he said.

"Jamie, Daryl, and Tyresse, you stay here with Carl and Judith, the others, Gabriel and I will go get the food. If we're not back in at least a day you know what to do," dad said.

                              "Yeah," I answered.

"Jamie, I'm serious. Daryl, you and Tyresse make sure my kids stay alive and safe. Leave if we're not back," dad said.

                         "Got it," Daryl said.

Before they left dad kissed Judith, then me, and hugged Carl, he looked at Daryl and they both nodded. I was always scared none of them would come back when they left like this. A few hours later they were back with a bunch of food and water. Gabriel looked like he regretted bringing us in. I went and sat between dad and Daryl and watched as Judith fed dad. I caught Bob get up out of the corner of my eye and go outside. I laid my head on Daryl's shoulder and he kissed my forehead. We figured Bob was just looking around so after a few hours had passed Sasha went outside, we heard her scream as quietly as possible, when we all ran outside Bob was on the ground with only one leg.
