                                      ↳𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬: light language

XIMENA and Mirabel snuck out of Bruno's tower, sandy footsteps trailing behind them. "I fucking told you Mirabel." The shorter girl exclaimed once they had reached the nursery. "Yeah you're right, whatever. But why am I in Bruno's vision? And why did he leave?" Mirabel paced back and forth around her room as Ximena sat on her bed watching, swinging her feet.

"Ok well if you want to know more about Bruno, why don't you just ask?" "We don't talk about Bruno." "Well let's fucking talk about him because he knows the reason Casita is breaking." 

Mirabel sighed, "Ok fine. No one is going to tell us anything about Bruno, or even talk about him. We'll find out ourselves. We have a couple hours before Isabela's engagement dinner. We got this." Ximena nodded happily, her energy had been at an all time high since her sleeping problems had been fixed. Camilo dropped by everyday to give her the herbs and occasionally he would stay until she fell asleep.

What she didn't get is why he didn't just give her all the herbs right away instead of making the trip across town every night

Mirabel grabbed Ximena's hand and the two walked out into the hallway. "Ok but how do we find a man who's been missing for 10 years?" Mirabel questioned as they walked past door after door. "I don't know maybe ask the magical house." Ximena said extravagantly waving her hands. 

"Casita, where is Bruno." 

No response. "Where is Bruno, please?"

The floors moved under them guiding them to a picture frame. "Casita this is not Bruno, it's joy even a picture of him." Mirabel said exasperated, Ximena rubbed her back calming her down until she felt something brush her leg. A rat. The rat nudged the picture frame revealing a secret hall inside before scurrying inside.

"You can have a mental breakdown later Mirabel but for now, we need to follow that rat."

They entered and found a man in a cloak with rats on his shoulder staring at them. Camilo described someone like this before she notes, though she snapped out of her thoughts at the sight of the man running away.

"Comeback." Mirabel called beginning to chase him, Ximena following behind. The man dodged jagged edges and loose pieces of fondation as the girls did the same. 

Ximena felt herself about to fall into a hole she grabbed the edge, "Mirabel!" Mirabel stopped her chase to help her up but began to feel herself slipping in as well. "Curse my noodle arms." She yelled, "Bruno help!" Bruno felt conflicted before grabbing Mirabel and pulling her back, forgetting she was holding Ximena's hand causing her to slip.

"NO!" Mirabel called looking into the hole to see Ximena just sitting on the ground. "Huh, wasn't as deep as I thought." She said shrugging. She looked up to see a nervous shaggy haired man.

"Well." He simply stated walking away. Mirabel pulled Ximena out of the hole and followed closely behind. 

Ximena looked around at the room he walked into, a couple of rats she had seen around the house were sprinkled across different surfaces. "That explains your rats problems-"

"We don't have time for that. Bruno. Tell us about your vision. What does it mean?"

sorry for the lack of Camilo. My hyperfixation is fading. So until I can rewatch it expect less chapters. I am however currently into Arcane and a couple animes I rewatched.
