You and Shinobu had been given a mission to slay a demon that was spotted somewhere near a small village called Biei. Judging by reports of people who have lost family or friends by this demon,it only goes after children. And that made you want to kill it more than you already did. You and Shinobu had a 2 year old daughter together,you adopted her of course. And,all you could think about when you heard of these young kids go missing was your daughter.
It was a weak demon,it took less than an hour to kill it. Probably why it went after children only,cause they're so weak and defenseless. But,despite it being weak,it had still been able to injure you. But,that was because you had been caught off guard. It was able to throw up some kind of acid,and if it landed in your eyes it blinded you. And it just so happened to land in your eyes. When you told Shinobu you couldn't see,she carried you to a nearby hotel and checked your eyes. A frown made its way to her face. "Y/n,dear. It seems like you have gone blind." Your heart sank into your stomach. No! You felt your bottom lip quiver,and tears well in your eyes. This couldn't be happening! You felt something wrap around you,and you assumed it was Shinobus arms,her pulling you in for a hug of comfort. And you were right. She pulled your head into her chest and let out a sigh. "Don't worry, from the looks of it,it's only temporary." That made you feel a little more relieved,but,not really. "Now I have an excuse to shower with you everyday." You said with a grin. Shinobu let out a laugh. A smile made its way to your face. You were happy. Happy that you had Shinobu to care for you. Happy that you had Shinobu in your life.
The next day you and Shinobu took a train back to the Hashira's mansion,and Shinobu guided you to her room. "Mommy 1 and mommy 2!" The sound of your daughters voice shouted,and a smile appeared on your face. She jumped onto your lap and wrapped her arms around you. You smiled. Yes. This was fine. You were happy you had a girlfriend and daughter that loved you so much. You wouldn't want it any other way. Shinobu placed a kiss on your forehead and whispered "I love you"
