*AUSTINS POV*
She looked at everyone and started off and said:
"Well all of you all know that Zack was my absolute best friend, and most of you all know that we got into an arguement about two months ago. When I heard what had happened I honestly hated myself because we hadn't talked and I had been ignoring him. Anyway, as I was thinking about what to say to you all here today, all I could think about was the night before senior year. Most, well all of you all know that me and Zack never missed a party, so the night before school started back up we went to one so we could catch up since we didn't see each other much over the summer. I usually wouldn't tell people about our "wastey-pants" stories, so he would say. Anyway, we got COMPLETELY wasted, like it was rough, I don't know how we both ended up at school the next day, but we did. I have 3 videos of Zack from that night. He was everywhere. He was always the life of the party. The reason I am telling you this is to tell you that Zack was a boy who would always put a smile on your face, one who would fight to make sure you were happy, and one that was always there for you. I had some of the best times with him, and I will NEVER forget them. I miss hi-.." and that's when she broke down in front of everyone. "Never in my life would I have thought that I would be speaking at my best friends fun-.." she cried more. I stood up and grabbed her hand and led her to sit down. She buried her face into my shoulder as the preacher prayed and dismissed us.
We got into my car and I headed back home. She teared up the whole way home and I kept trying to make her laugh, nothing was working though. We ran upstairs and I tackled her on my bed and kissed and tickled her. She finally cracked a smile and kissed me back. She stood up and took off her earrings and dress. She grinned because she was only in her bra, underwear, and heels. Oh fuck.. She smiled and winked at me. She really is trying to kill me. She took off her heels and bent down in front of me to get her pjs out. I grabbed her and said "how about you just wear that for today?" She laughed and said, "well sure, as long as you wear something else besides a tux..." I stood up and took off my coat and shirt, slid off my pants and shoes and put on some basketball shorts.
When I looked up she had on one of my shirts and her underwear. Damn. She looks good. She looked up at me and smiled as her eyes trailed down my body. "Like what you see?" I asked. She bit her lip and said "hmm. yeah. IM STARVING!" and then ran down the steps, I chased her and she started making macaroni and cheese. I heard a knock on the door and went to get it, not realizing what I had on. I opened the door and it was Tess. She smiled and I heard her mumble "damn," under her breath. I laughed and she said "hey, I'm not here to cause trouble. I want to work things out with Sky." I led her to the kitchen. "Uhhh, did I interrupt something? I see you both aren't fully clothed." Tess said. Sky whipped her head around and said "nah, we are just REALLY comfortable around each other." Sky winked at me. Tess obviously saw it because she giggled. I spoke up and said "well babe, Tess is here to work things out, she said she didn't want to cause any trouble."
Sky nodded and handed me a bowl of macaroni and cheese as they walked into the living room. I sat in the kitchen so if someone started yelling I could make Tess leave. Sky didn't need someone yelling at her now, not with Zack just passing away.
*Tess POV*
My lord, I thought I would never see the day that Sky was actually serious with an attractive guy. I walked with Sky into the living room and we both sat down. I started and said "okay, so I want to first off apologize for what I did with Zack, I know that's why you all got into the arguement. I had feelings for him, but not enough for me to be IN love with him, ya know? Anyway, I was as drunk as he was, so it isn't all my fault. Also, I wanted to apologize for freshman year. We were the best of friends since 3rd grade. I missed you. I don't have any friends now that Zack is gone, I need you." She smiled at me and said "Tess, honestly I have been waiting for this since the incident... I knew you would come around, Anyway when my sister died in 9th grade you ignored me. I needed you like you need me now.. That's why our friendship completely fell apart and it may take me some time to regain that trust back with you but I am willing to try. I've missed you too. Sleepover tonight?" I smiled and I said "yeah, I will go and get my stuff. Want me to come back here or to your house?" "Uhhhhm, come back here. I don't feel like moving my stuff back over to my house, haha." Sky said. She led me to the door. I walked out to get into my new black VW beetle and went to get my stuff. Shew, that was a lot easier than I thought it would have been.
*Skys POV*
I can't believe Tess just apologized like that... I walked into the kitchen and smiled at Austin who was eyeing my up and down.. I giggled and said "geez, you look like you have never even seen me before.." he laughed and chased me into the living room. I laid in his arms and started watching the new Spider-Man movie. I fell asleep in his lap and woke up in the same position except Tess was across from me. I rubbed my eyes and said "Ohhh, hey!" She smiled and said "let's do something fun!" Austin smiled and said "what about a party?! lets do it!" I called my mom and told her we were going to be having a party so it might be best for her to stay with Aunt Kathy since it would be pretty loud and she has to work early tomorrow morning. Surprisingly, she said "okay, we have some alcohol at the house and if you need some more I can bring it by there. You need some time to let everything go." "Thanks mommy, I think we will need some more vodka and some beer. That ok?" She agreed and said she would drop it off soon. Tess, Austin, and I invited people and they all invited more people, so it turned out to be a huuuge party. After mom brought some alcohol, I went to the house to get some, and Austin got his out we had a ton, and people were bringing some with them, so there was enough to do me and Austin for the rest of the freaking year. Tess had cleared a space for dancing and was playing her iPod. Tess and I ran upstairs to change. I put on a one sleeved pink dress and diamond heels, and I let Tess wear some of my red heels, and a navy blue dress of mine that I had grabbed while I was at my house earlier. I walked downstairs and found Austin. He hugged me and said "I have been looking everywhere for you, you look amazing"
