It's my first day at school in this town (Beverly Hills, California), I think in this town it's going to be different, new people new clothes everything is going to change my life is going to change, not that it hasn't already, I hope my brother Josh has a better time making friends here, cause he had a really hard time making friends in the lays town we lived in, I was worried for him. I was worried if the kids there were going to, like bully him. So maybe this town will treat him differently...I hope.
"Lucy!" Her mom yelled.
"What!" Lucy replied with stress.
"Are you ready for school?"
"Yeah"
"Good, so are you exited for school?"
"No"
"How come?"
"It's just that I feel that I'd don't belong here, I belong at home."
"This is your home."
"Yeah, right."
"Look, it will get better I promise."
"Ok, I'm ready."
"Ok let's go."
When I got to the school ( Beverly High) it felt like I might have a slight chance here but I thought I didn't have a chance my mom might be right, it'll get better. But I need to think this through, it's a new school, fresh start, new friends, which means harder work. But then something great happened. A boy ran into me!"
"Oh sorry." He said with regret.
"It's ok."
"So are you new here?"
"Yeah"
"Then I don't think you know where you're going."
"No I don't, could you help? And I never got your name."
"I never got your either, but my name is Ethan now it's your turn."
"Lucy."
"That's a beautiful name."
"Thank you."
"So what's your first class? maybe we can sit together."
After school I realized that giving things a chance, and trying new things, will help you in life, to make choices on your future, so that day I will not forget how Ethan and I met.
