It's the most wonderful time of the year! Everyone was so excited about this month, but there was only one problem. Mrs. Bustier's Mistletoe. Everyone adored Mrs. Bustier but dreaded her mistletoe. She would put it up on the first of December and would leave it up all month.

Once everyone sat down, Mrs. Bustier pulled out the box of Christmas decorations and had Ivan hang it up on the door frame. Then Mrs. Bustier spoke,

"As you can see, it is that time of year again. I know most of you have heard the stories of my annual mistletoe fiasco!" she clasped her hands together, then said, "Now, like everything in this class, there are a few simple rules to follow. Rule number one, the mistletoe is only active in the morning and those people must kiss, are the last two people entering the classroom. Rule number two do not be mean to anyone. I do not tolerate disrespectful comments. Additionally, if you get mistletoed once, you can no longer get it again. Rule number three, by the end of this month all of you are going to get mistletoed and you just need to except that. My greatest piece of advice is to not be late." She took a moment to make direct eye contact with Marinette, who was dreamily staring at Adrien.

"Does everyone understand these rules?"

Everyone nodded, while Chloe rolled her eyes, then Alya raised her hand.

"Mrs. Bustier, how long will this last?" then elbowed Marinette to pay attention.

"This will last until the start of winter break. Now everyone, take out your textbooks and turn to page 53."

************

The first victims of the mistletoe were Kim and Alix. They tried to see who could get to the classroom first while crab walking and ended up being the last ones.

Next, were Ivan and Mylene because they were too preoccupied with each other to check the time.

Then there was Mark and Rose. Mark had to turn in a paper to Mrs. Bustier and somehow got brought into this. Rose was late because she had forgot her favorite perfume in her locker.

The fourth pair were Max and Chloe. Max was late because he needed batteries for Marcov. As for Chloe, her limo experienced a flat tire. One scream fest to her father and firing the driver later, she finally made it to school. That kiss was the cherry on top for her, and she ended up leaving the classroom.

Somehow, during all of this, Alya was chosen to become the class photographer and keep tabs on who got mistletoed. Also, Lila wasn't in class during this time because she was on a trip or something.

Next, were Nathaniel and Sabrina. Nathaniel had to get his notebook back from Mark and Sabrina had to get Chloe's bag from her locker.

Then there was Nino and Juleka. Nino was late because he had forgotten his headphones on the bench and Juleka wanted to show Rose her new hair clip, which was in her locker.

Then there were two, which were obviously Adrien and Marinette. Everyone was waiting for them to get it, but somehow, they were always first to enter the classroom.

In case you were wondering, Marinette was exhausted from how early she had woken up the past few weeks. At the end of the day, she would walk into Mrs. Bustier's empty classroom. Lock the door then leave one of the windows open so she could easily jump in. Then she would de-transform and hide in the back of the classroom until her classmates started to walk in. As for Adrien, he would get to class at his usual time and sneak in unnoticed. All was well until...

The day Ladybug and Chat Noir had to meet with the mayor to discuss their Christmas celebration. On this day, the mayor was feeling generous and asked them if they could take 2 bags of presents to Mrs. Bustier's classroom. Both Ladybug and Chat were wearing matching Santa hats and Chat insisted on carrying both bags.

Everyone in the class was anticipating the arrival of Adrien and Marinette. Everyone was celebrating because their final attempt to get them together was FINALLY going to work. They heard footsteps, then the door swung open and to everyone's disbelief it wasn't them. Not only were the two superheroes of Paris standing in their classroom, but they were also about to get mistletoed! Ladybug and Chat Noir were confused as to why they were getting weird looks, until they both looked up. The class started chanting 'Kiss, kiss, kiss!'

Adrien was internally panicking. He couldn't believe this was going to be his first real kiss with Ladybug. The only problem was, he didn't want an audience watching. His whole civilian life was publicized and now his hero side was too. He sighed as he wished they could share this moment privately. Then carefully placed the gift bags on the floor and turned toward his lady.

A blush spread across both their faces and Chat looked into Ladybug's eyes, waiting for her approval. Ladybug nodded slowly, then Chat took the opportunity to cup her face and kiss her. The kiss was brief, but it earned appraisals from everyone in the classroom. Chat let go, then started to hand out all the gifts.

If Marinette was being honest with herself, she was upset. Why did Chat Noir end the kiss so quickly? Did he not like the kiss? Granted he initiated the kiss, and she kissed him back. Wait! That's not the point. She scolded herself, then another question dawned on her, why didn't she get mistletoed with Adrien? That last question stung. She shook her head then grabbed the other bag and handed it to Chloe. (She got a Santa sack full of gifts).

Once everyone got their presents, they were dismissed for the day, which left both heroes in awkward silence.

"Well, that was the last of the students," Chat said as he slung the bag across his shoulder and walked towards Ladybug.

Up to this point, Ladybug had stayed quiet and had made no eye contact with Chat. Then she shouted, "Why did you do that?"

Chat jumped and put his free hand up in protest. "Do what, exactly?"

"You know exactly what I'm talking about!" Ladybug insisted as a pointed her index finger.

"I had to kiss you. We were under the mistletoe!"

"Well, if you're going to kiss me, at least do it right!"

Ladybug then pulled Chat from his bell and kissed him. This time they embraced, and the kiss was almost considered a make out session.  Ladybug pulled back first and if they were both being honest with each other, they were both a little flabbergasted by what had just happened.

"T-that's how a real kiss is done." Ladybug breathed out, "Well, if you're not going to say anything bug ou-"

This caused Chat Noir to snap out of his trans and said, "wow M'lady. If all you wanted was a kiss for Christmas, all you needed to do was ask."

This made Ladybug blush and look down. That's when she noticed two boxes were left in the bag. She pulled a box out to examine it and then said, "Chat, I thought you said all the gifts given ou-"

Adrien Agreste was the name that was written. Now that Ladybug thought about it, she hadn't seen Adrien when she entered the classroom. Was he absent? What if he's stranded somewhere? A million questions started to race in Ladybug's mind; however, this was short lived when Chat said, "Well, I haven't seen Marinette anywhere so I couldn't give it to her."

"Hey, I have an idea! How about you give that gift to," he took a minute to look at the gift tag, "Adrien Agreste, and I give it to Marinette, deal."

"Fine, I'll do it, but only whenever I get a chance. "I have to go Kitty. Bugout!" said Ladybug as she ran out of the classroom.

"Bye Ladybug!" Chat yelled.

Once she was out of his vision, he silently said to himself, "I can't believe she kissed me."
