The next few weeks were pleasantly different from the other few days George had spent at the mansion. Instead of slinking out, or trying to escape, he sat at the dining room table eating with the rest of the group and smiling from ear to ear.
His negative, untrusting thoughts, were squished to the very back of his mind, as he let his guard down for once. It felt amazing, letting go for once. The only other times, being when he was asleep. George just wasn't a person quick to trust. He had learned from a young age.
Dream smiled at George from across the table, who was slightly playing with his food as he observed the men around him, listening but not quite participating in the conversations going on.
The blonde pushed back in his chair as he leaned back, his hands placed behind his head as he released a sigh of contentment. "So." He started, waiting as the few voices speaking faded as the boys turned to him, questions emitting from their eyes, "what do you guys wanna do today?"
Tubbo's eyes sparked with hope, "Wait, we don't have to do any work today?" He smiled wide, turning to Tommy beside him, who's gaze was still on Dream. "Nope." Dream said, popping the 'p' at the end.
Tommy whooped, standing up. His action was copied by Tubbo and Ranboo, "LET'S FUCKING GO BOYS!"
Dream grinned at them before clearing his throat again, glancing at George for a millisecond, who's expression was slightly interested in the going ons in front of him. "So, what are we gonna do?"
Punz leaned back in his chair, thinking for a second before answering, "We should go to the theme park and play laser tag." Tommy scrunched his nose up in distaste, "What? Do you think we are mere children? Let's do something else."
Punz let his chair drop down to all fours and smirked up at Tommy knowingly, "Why? Afraid I'll kick your ass at it?" Tommy's face grew slightly red, Tubbo placing a hand on his shoulder to attempt to calm him down.
"As if." Tommy settled with, sitting back down coolly. Sam and Punz laughed, slapping a high five. Dream stood up, "So it's set? Laser tag?"
There were nods from everyone, but Tommy, who begrudgingly nodded last. Now it was Punz's turn to whoop, and he did, Sam joining in. Tommy looked about ready to explode, "I wouldn't speak too soon." He grumbled.
Punz pretended not to hear, turning to talk to Sam who was beside him, "Partners?" Sam grinned, and nodded. "Oh yeah."

It was late into the afternoon before everyone finally settled down and got ready, being out in the cars by 3:00 pm. The drive to the theme park was only fifteen minutes, so they spent the time jamming out to loud music and just having fun.
George had gone in one car consisting of Dream, Bad, and Tommy. Sam, Ranboo, Tubbo, and Punz had taken another car. They both reached the theme park at about the same time, everyone piling inside. George didn't miss the glances from people enjoying the park nearby. He couldn't tell if they were just looking, or were annoyed at them. He chose the latter, and looked down, hurrying to follow the group.
Boy, did he hate public places.
The crew reached the laser tag area and made their way to the lobby. A worker there explained the game, which everyone already knew, and then asked if they wanted a free-for-all, or a team game.
It was decided by Dream that it would be a team game, everyone agreeing with little argument. Punz and Sam teamed up, Ranboo and Bad decided to be partners, and Tommy and Tubbo agreed to teaming. Leaving George and Dream; not that Dream was complaining. It gave him a chance to try and make the brunette open up more. They would be able to have a bit of a one on one while playing, it was perfect.
