Time and time again, same old same words, same routine and same monthly payments.
Something isn't right here.
I tossed and turned in my sleep.. there was something bothering me but I cannot tell what it is. My bed feels empty all the time and my thoughts are as blank as a field with no tree's, only grass. My showers are quick and fast, I brush my teeth at a slow and steady pace. But everything seems so lonely.
What or who am I missing?

I got up this morning and lifted the bedsheets off of my body to swoop my bare feet onto the ground before getting ready for the day. In the mirror, I glanced down at the large scar on my stomach.
The scar was from fighting someone on my duty as a enforcer. Today I had to go back to that lousy jail cell. I need answers. And I need them now so I can succeed and finish this case with the victim called 'Jinx.'
I hopped in the shower and slid the certain near the end of the railing. I grabbed the gold handle on the shower wall and turned it so hot water would come running down my back.
I wasn't ready for the water since it delayed a few seconds. It shot down my back like a gun going through someone's head. It scared me.
"Eugh.." I began panting, it was getting a bit too hot, so I turned it more to the cold side.
I finished my shower and blow dried my hair. I straightened it and slid on my uniform clothes for my job.
Grabbing my phone, and sliding it into my pocket, I remembered to be sneaky with that. I wasn't allowed to have my phone on the job.. I also knew that as well.
"Mother," I called out to my mother before leaving the house. "I'm going to work, I'll see you when I get home." My mother nods as she sips her tea in the living room. I shook my head and closed the door, exiting our house. It was raining today. What wonderful weather for such a wonderful day.
I walked out to the streets and walked the rest of the way to the down town city centre.
"Boo! Guess who." Said someone from behind me who thought it was a fun idea to cover my eyes. "Jayce, stop it, I already know your silly games." I shoved his hands off my face and continued walking. "Oh, but do you really?" I scoffed at his words. "Yes, yes Jayce, I do. I have work to do, we will talk later, alright?"
Jayce sometimes got on my nerves but I didn't mind it. My mother didn't enjoy his company as much as I did. If anything, I enjoyed his company more then she did. The jail isn't as far away as I thought but as soon as I had reached it, it seemed very, very shady. Shadier then the last time I was here.
I have got to be careful in here. I never know what could possibly happen in a place like this. It's full of bad people, criminals to be exact and I am not a criminal. I will never follow after these horrible people in here.
I stepped up to the person at the front desk who seemed to be very bored with their job, but at the same time very excited to do it. "Hello. My name is Caitlyn Kiramman. I need to see Violet." I began speaking more strongly to the person at the front desk.
"Violet? Down the hall, left hand side. Third door to the right."
Wow.. that easy? Thanks I guess.. I thought to myself before going exactly where he told me. I went to go see this.. Violet. I walked down the cell doors and checked each name on each cell before I had finally reached her cell. I stopped in front of it.
Holy shit. Is that — Is this the right person? You've got to be serious..
A gulp in nervousness, then a slight pull in action.
THE CONVERSATION..
"Excuse me? Are you.. Are you uh.. Violet?"
The female turned to look at me.. she was sweating.. Whoever this Violet girl was.. she was.. stunning.. I— No, not right now. I need to focus.
"Uh, yeah, that's me. Please address me as VI — And what are you? Some cheap enforcer?" VI had said back to me in a very sharp tone.
"I am not a cheap enforcer. I came to ask you some questions about a suspect. They are apparently related to you. So please, answer them honestly."
My words caught her attention, so she looked at me.
"Related?"
I repeated myself.
"Yes, related."
I couldn't hold myself together. I was almost falling apart at this point.
"What's their name?"
..
"Their name is Jinx, but their birth name was Powder."
She looked at me with a fierce sharp look.
"..Powder? Is she still alive? Where? Where can I find her?" VI began asking me a lot of questions that I didn't know the answer to.
"Calm down, please. I.." Take a deep breath in Caitlyn..
"I— Uh.. I don't know the answer to most of those and I will not tell you until you tell me the answers to the questions I have."
"Sounds fair."
I began talking to her, and she wasn't that bad to talk to.
She.. she's different.
