(Act 3 - Chapter 1) Funeral/Trial

June 20th, 2034 - 0920 Hours - Lago Military Facility, URF Territory of Lagos

In the portyard, Transport Ships lowers ramps onto the lane. Allowing Tanks from all Ground Forces to be loaded, followed by other vehicles.

While the Military Commission pull most of their Military, they leave a Mechanized Division and a Infantry Division. Which is about 18,600 Troops, who are tasked to watch over the peace deal between Nigeria and the NUF.

In the Airfield, Janet is carried by Lucas as Seth and Eliven followed. Once they reach the L-329 Private Jet, he stops and put her down.

Eliven put her arm on his shoulder, carrying her. He turns to Lucas, who nods and was about to walk away.

But Janet held onto his hand, causing the Colonel to turn. Once he faces her, she gives him a quick kiss. Lucas accepts the kiss before they part, being escorted by Eliven and Seth who stopped.

Seth: "Not coming on board?" He asks

Lucas: "No, but I'll be close to provide escort" he says

Seth nods as he and Eliven enters the Jet, closing the door behind them. Lucas watch as the JetStar takes off, he sighs as he walk to his Interceptor.

Fortunately, his SIF/A-45 Interceptor is set up to take off. He climbs the ladder, picking up his helmet off his seat.

He puts it on and activate his sensors, soon Ranger appears on his Visor. He climbs into the cockpit, closing the canopy.

Lucas: "We need to talk Ranger" he says sternly

Ranger nods as Lucas activates his systems, preparing his vehicle to take off.

Outside, the Interceptor's engines powers up as it turns toward the ground. The panels that covers the Hover fan opens, allowing it to vertically take off.

The VTOL Jet lifts up into the air, before changing to Horizontal flight. Lucas takes control of the vehicle, using afterburn to catch up to the Private Jet

As Lucas speeds to catch up with the Private Jet, he turns to Ranger as she appears on the small Holopad. She looks with concern to Lucas, who sighs as he activates Auto Pilot.

Lucas: "I was told that I lost much of my Mutation, is this true?" he asks

Ranger: "Well, yes.... We did try to mix the new batch in, but your Mutation can't mix without your genetic makeup. So, at the moment, you're 'Powered Down' until you heal" she says

Lucas nods as he sees the Private Jet, taking the rear-left flank of the Aircraft. He was then joined by several SIF/A-45SV Interceptor, who soon sent data to Lucas. 

Ranger: "Viper Pilots, from the 3rd Viper Fighter Corp. Seems their ordered to follow you, at least until you're in Federation Airspace" she says

Lucas then sees an F-16DF Fighter, which joins the squadron. Soon the Fighter sends a call to Lucas, who accepts the call.

James: "This is Major Cpt. Al James, I'm tasked by the Alpha Commander to escort you and the Jet" he says

Lucas: "Copy, take lead and stay alert for us" he orders

James ends the call as his F-16DF takes forward formation, covering the front of the Private Jet.

Inside the Private Jet, Janet watches from her window. Her eyes set on Lucas' VTOL Interceptor, focused on every move the vehicle makes.
