Dad woke up a few hours later, "Jamie, what happened to your face?" He asked panicked.

"You. You and Pete were fighting. He hit Jessie as she pulled him off of you. Carl tried pulling you off and you hit him, then me. You pulled a gun on Deanna, Michonne knocked you out. There's a meeting in a bit to decide what to do. Get some rest," I answered.

"I hit you and Carl? Daryl is going to kill me. I'm so sorry."

"It's fine. We'll tell him I fell or something."

Then Maggie yelled for me, "Jamie, you need to come out here! I can't get Glenn off of Nick!"

I ran outside and pulled Glenn off. They'd all went on a run and just got back, apparently something went wrong, Nick stood to lunge at Glenn, I shoved him back.

"Knock it off! What the hell is going on?" I yelled.

"He got Noah killed and Tara is seriously hurt!" Glenn shouted.

                         "Aden?" I asked.

"Didn't make it. I tried to get to him. I got cut off by walkers," Glenn sighed.

"I'm sorry, Deanna," I said and placed my hand on her shoulder.

"Just get ready for the meeting," she said and walked away.

Nick stood to go at Glenn again, I shoved him back again, "I said knock it off. 1 of my people died, another almost died because of you. You got your friend killed. I'd just walk away if I was you," I sneered. Nick dropped his head and walked away.

"Jamie, what the hell happened to your face? Daryl is going to kill someone when he gets back!" Glenn said turning my head to the side to get a better look.

"I fell..." I said and walked away.

                                                   *THE MEETING*

When it was time for the meeting everyone was there and waiting on dad to show up, "we need to get started," Deanna said.

"Just a few more minutes," Jessie said.

After a couple more minutes dad showed up with a walker, everyone gasped.

"Dad, did you bring that in here?" I asked.

"No, the gate wasn't shut, it attacked me. This thing killed Noah, people in my group. I've lost to these things. They're dangerous, you don't know like we d-"

"Dad, behind you!" I yelled as Pete brought Michonne's sword swiping through the air slitting Reg's throat, spraying Deanna and I with blood. Abraham tackled Pete down.

"Rick, do it," Deanna said, dad nodded then shot Pete.

"Rick?" I heard a familiar voice. I looked over to see Daryl, Aaron, and...

                           "Morgan?" I asked.

                           "Jamie," he nodded.

"What the hell happened to your face?" Daryl shouted turning my face to the side.

                        "Uh,"

"Pete did it. She was trying to pull him off of Rick," Jessie said.

"Good thing he's dead then," Daryl said.

                           "It's just a small bruise," I said.

"Small? Jamie, it takes up half your damn face! You told me you'd keep her safe while I was gone," Daryl yelled pointing at dad.

"Daryl, stop it. I knew I could've been hurt, I'm fine. It happened. It'll heal."

Daryl looked at me, "I just hate seeing you hurt."

"I know, but I'm okay," I sighed and Daryl hugged me, I placed a kiss to the side of his neck and pulled him tighter into me.
