Standing backstage in the arena, you're watching as the girls perform cry for me.

Your seven-year-old daughter Summer is holding your hand tightly, watching with big eyes as their beautiful voices fill the big concert hall, and they all dance in sync.

This isn't the first twice show your daughter has been to.

She's been to a couple of them.

But each time, she's completely fascinated by everything that goes into it, although she never makes it through the entire show as she tends to get tired and struggles to keep her eyes open.

You and Momo have been together for quite some time now.

In fact, your eleven-month anniversary is approaching. It's just a week away.

But Momo didn't meet Summer until about seven months ago.

That's when you and Momo first said your first I love you's.

That's when you knew she isn't going anywhere.

And since the moment they met, your daughter has been attached to Momo as much as she could be.

She adores Momo.

She loves that Momo sings to her each night, giving Summer her own little private concert full of her favorite songs to help her fall asleep.

She loves that Momo spoils her, not with material things but with an endless amount of love and hugs.

She loves that Momo makes her feel loved; something her father didn't, as he left when she was young.

Before Momo came along, it was just the two of you for several years.

But now, it's the three of you.

Momo has already said that you're a little family and one day, she wants to tie the knot with you and announce your love to the world.

But not yet.

There was still plenty of time for that.

You were busy staring at Momo, thinking to yourself that she's just so breathtaking and so talented and you are truly the luckiest woman in the world.

But the feeling of your daughter tugging at your shirt made you look away from Momo and down to her.

"What is it, honey?"

"I want Momo." She mumbled.

It's getting late, going on nine-thirty.

Summer is usually always asleep by now since she's on a certain routine.

But she doesn't like to go to bed without Momo singing to her or reading her a story.

So she's not used to this at all.

"I know, sweetie. There's only a little while left. Only about three songs to go and then she'll be back here with us."

She pouted a little as she rubbed her eyes.

"Do you want me to hold you and you can listen to her sing? I know you're tired. Maybe that will help you fall asleep."

She shook her head and you frowned, unsure of what to do.

But as cry for me came to an end, the girls planned on doing a quick speech and taking a few sips of water before they'd do the last couple of songs.

From where you stood, you could see Momo's back. You watched as she knelt on the stage and grabbed her water to take a few sips.

Seeing that she was done performing, at least momentarily, Summer pulled her hand out of yours and started to rush to the stage.

You chased after her, calling out her name and telling her to stop.

But she didn't listen.

She was too young to understand why she couldn't go out to Momo and be with her in public when other kids can show affection to their parents in public.

She doesn't understand the complications that can come along with these things.

She just thinks that Momo has a pretty voice and a cool job.

She doesn't get that there have to be boundaries between her personal life and her public life.

So it was hard to be angry for her not listening to you as she ran out on stage and over to Momo.

But you did worry.

You groaned and buried your face in your hands as the girls all watched Summer throw her arms around Momo.

They all looked out at the several thousands of fans in the crowd who didn't know what was happening and curiously watched on.

Momo just hugged Summer as she looked at the girls, wondering if maybe it was time to do this.

She didn't feel as though there was much of a choice. She worried that if she didn't say something, things might get harder for you to keep your relationship private and someone might out everything without your permission, which could make things worse.

It would be better if she did it on her own terms.

She smiled at Summer as the small girl looked at her with big eyes full of excitement and held onto her tightly.

"Did you come out here to see me?" Momo whispered in Summer's ear.

She excitedly nodded her head.

"You couldn't wait? Too excited?" She chuckled and, again, Summer nodded her head.

She looked at the fans in the crowd and took in a deep breath before she grabbed her mic with her free hand.

"Hello, ONCE!"

The fans loudly cheered, making Momo's smile grow.

"This isn't exactly the way I planned to do this but I guess now is a good time to do so."

She stared down at Summer, brushing a lock of hair behind her ear.

After, she looked back at you, seeing you just out of sight from the crowd but enough for her and the girls to see you.

You nodded your head, giving her permission to do what she was about to do.

"You're probably wondering who this small but adorable kid is doing here on stage with me." Momo stared down at Summer proudly. "This is Summer. She's my girlfriend's daughter. Summer has been part of my life for a few months now and I love her very much."

She kissed Summer's forehead, listening to her giggle.

"It's not how I expected to announce that I'm in a relationship and I have this precious little girl who looks up to me a lot, who I adore very much. But it seems like the perfect time. I hope you'll be happy for me and support the three of us. It would mean a lot."

To her surprise, the fans cheered louder than before, as if they were all telling her that they did indeed support all three of you.

She stood up and lifted Summer into her arms before the girls all hugged the two of them.

Feeling a little shy, you chose to stay backstage. But you watched the precious sight.

Before the night was over, you knew that everyone would be talking about this.

But you don't mind anymore.

You're just happy that you don't have to hide your love for each other and you're so happy that Summer can hug Momo in public without any raised eyebrows or questions.

You can be a family now and show off just how happy you all are, as everyone should be allowed to do with their families.
