Beginning

A loud roar echoed throughout an island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, as the Kaiju, a category one known as "Trespasser" emerged from the ocean and began to make its march towards the coast of the island.

However, as it stomped through the water towards the beach, several fighter jets flew towards the Kaiju, blasting it with missiles and bullets, but all of the weapons did nothing to even slow down the massive Kaiju.

All the weapons did was piss it off, with Trespasser then swinging it's claws and tail at the jets as they flew by, destroying multiple jets that didn't manage to maneuver out of the way of the Kaiju's body, claws, or tail.

However, as if on cue, several more Kaiju emerged from the ocean. These included the likes of Otachi, Karloff, Kaiceph, Knifehead and so many others.

The kaiju continued to make their way to land with Karloff, Otachi, Knifehead, Threadtail, and Hardship made landfall first due to their faster movement speed. With Raiju, Scunner, Leatherback, Mutavore, and Trespasser following shortly after them.

Slattern and Rocksplitter were the final Kaiju to make landfall, with the two category five Kaiju being the largest and heaviest out of the Kaiju attacking the island, which also meant that they were the slowest to make landfall.

However, on the horizon, all of the Kaiju could see several mechanical giants approaching them, it was the Jaegers, humanities monsters designed to fight Kaiju.

Leading the group was Gipsy Danger, one of the most legendary mark three Jaeger's in service, following alongside Gipsy were several other Jaegers, including legendary Striker Eureka and Cherno Alpha alongside some slightly lesser known Jaegers such as Valor Omega and Tacit Ronin.

The Kaiju roared and snarled in anger and hatred at the Jaegers as the two sides closed in on each other. The Kaiju then charged forward at the Jaegers, with Knifehead leading the charge as Kaiju and Jaeger collided and started to get into a massive close quarter brawl.

Gipsy Danger was fighting Knifehead, while Striker Eureka was fighting Mutavore, Romeo Blue was fighting Hardship, Cherno Alpha and Crimson Typhoon were fighting Leatherback in a two versus one while Matador Fury was fighting Trespasser.

Threadtail meanwhile was fighting Puma Real and Brawler Yukon was fighting Karloff while Valor Omega, Azure Infinite, and Tacit Ronin were fighting Slattern.

Coyote Tango meanwhile was engaging Otachi while Atlas Destroyer was fighting Scunner and Raiju.

The battle started out in the Jaeger's favour, that is until the Kaiju changed the tide of the battle in their favour and started to win the battle with Leatherback throwing Crimson Typhoon backwards into a mountain while Atlas was knocked over onto it's back, being pinned down by Scunner's foot.

Tacit Ronin meanwhile was sent flying backwards by a tailswipe from Slatten, with the poor mark one getting flung backwards a good distance, the armour on its chest was ripped up badly by the category V's three tails.

Off in the distance a dark figure watched the battle between Jaeger and Kaiju go down. This was Obsidian Fury, one of the three Kaiju-Jaeger Hybrids that managed to gain free will from the hivemind, the other two hybrids were Apex and Tempest.

Obsidian watched as Titan Redeemer flung its mourning star at Kaiceph only to be smacked aside like a toy by Rocksplitter's hand while Puma Real was struggling to hold Threadtail back as Matador Fury was sent stumbling backwards by Trespasser.

"Do we help them?" Tempest asked Obsidian, in a language only the three biomechs could understand.

"Which side? The Jaegers or the Kaiju?" Apex asked. "We're wanted dead by both of them, so why help at all?"
