"(Y/n)! You're our only hope! What do you think we should do tonight?" He shrugged his shoulders, taking his phone out of the pocket of his ripped jeans and typing in the passcode. "UGH!! Come on!! Seriously? We've been out of ideas for the past week, even Bakugou's abandoned us! Sero? Kirishima? Kaminari? Anything??" The three boys all shook their heads in unison, also on their phones. Mina huffed, crossing her arms.

"I'm kinda hungry, you got any snacks, Mina?" (Y/n) asked, looking up from his phone for a brief second. Mina rolled her eyes.

"You're always hungry. And no, I don't have any snacks. Because you ate them all!" Sero chuckled under his breath at her response.

"Mina! That's not very manly of you to say! (Y/n)'s fine, he doesn't eat much more than I do. Plus, I'm pretty sure all of us have had a lot of your snacks, so don't put the blame specifically on him," Kirishima said.

"I wasn't meaning it like that, Kirishima. Calm down. But I'm being serious, what do we do?"

"Get food?" Kaminari suggested. (Y/n) looked up from his phone and snapped his fingers, pointing to Kaminari.

"That's what I was thinking!" Mina groaned in frustration, running her hands through her hair.

"We're NOT getting food! It's nearly three in the morning, and all of the stores are closed right now. Plus, it's past curfew, and I will not be caught sneaking out."

"That's not my problem. Also, there's a 24-hour gas station a few blocks away. If you don't want to get caught out past curfew, then I can go and grab some snacks for everyone. Then we can, I don't know, just chill out? Maybe watch a movie?" (Y/n) explained, turning off his phone and returning it to his pocket.

"Sounds good to me! Get me some potato chips, merci," Sero said, winking at (Y/n), who raised an eyebrow.

"English, please. I'm an idiot; you know this."

"I believe he meant 'thank you.' Also, if it's not too expensive, I'll take some Cheetos," Kirishima said with a smile.

"'If it's not too expensive?' Kiri, they're like, 3 bucks max for a giant bag. I'll get you three. Mina?"

"I don't need anything, I'll get things for myself tomorrow. Today. Whatever day it is."

"Passing up free food? Alright then, suit yourself. How about you Kami?" (Y/n) asked, turning to said boy.

"Actually, I was wondering if I could come with you. It sounds fun, and I've been cooped up here for a while. So a walk to the gas station sounds nice."

"Well, sorry to break it to ya, but I'll be skateboarding there, and I don't have an extra board. Sorry dude," (Y/n) said, standing up from the floor where he was sitting with a small stretch.

"No, no. I have my own board," Kaminari said, standing up as well.

"Really? Nice. I'm gonna grab a hoodie real quick. You should too, it's kinda cold out. I'll meet you in the common room in 5." Kaminari nodded and opened the door to Mina's room, holding it for (Y/n) to walk out, before walking after him and heading to his dorm. Once at his dorm, he let out a sigh of relief, before it quickly turned into a small squeal of happiness.

He had been waiting for an opportunity to get some one-on-one time with (Y/n). He desperately wanted to get closer to him. Yeah, they were already close, but they didn't know as much about each other as they thought. And the fact that (Y/n) didn't know about Kaminari owning a skateboard proved that. It almost seemed like common knowledge that he had a skateboard, yet (Y/n) had no idea.

He put on a yellow hoodie, then grabbed his backpack and put an extra hoodie and blanket in it in case either of them got cold. Slinging it over his shoulder, he grabbed a baseball cap off of his bedpost and placed it on his head, the visor facing backwards. He picked up his skateboard from under his bed and began to walk down to the common room. As he walked, he couldn't help but smile. That smile quickly turned to a quiet chuckle and little sparks flew around his body. He hadn't felt this way in a long time.

It wasn't anything as serious as love. It was more like a friendship feeling. Kaminari was finally getting an opportunity to create a friendship with someone who seemed way too cool to even look in his direction. So, you can imagine his excitement at the fact that he was not only spending time alone with one of the coolest people in UA, but he was doing something that both he and (Y/n) enjoyed. That being skateboarding.

Entering the common room, he saw that (Y/n) was already standing by the door, waiting for him. He smiled and gained the confidence to approach them.

"So... Where's this gas station at?" (Y/n) chuckled.

"Just follow my lead, pretty boy."
