We made it to a spot by the pond when dad whispered, "we fire our guns here and there. The shots will sound in different directions, then we'll go to the corrie, everybody drives. We'll lead the walkers away."

"Okay, but Judith to the corrie and back?" Jessie asked.

"I'll take her to the church," Gabriel said, I shot him a look.

                            "Can you?" Michonne asked.

"Yes, I will keep her safe," he answered.

Dad nodded and Carl slid Judith to Gabriel, then he walked away. All we could do was watch as they disappeared into the sea of walkers. When we lost sight of them we all connected hands again. The order was: dad, Carl, Jessie, Sam, Ron, me, and Michonne.

It was dark when Sam pulled away from Jessie and Ron and he started to cry. Jessie and Ron tried getting him to calm down. When all of a sudden a bunch of walkers attacked him. Jessie started yelling and walkers attacked her. She wouldn't let go of Carl, so dad chopped her hand off, Ron let go of me and picked up Jessie's gun and aimed at my dad.

"You," Ron said then Michonne drove her sword through his back, the gun fired and grazed my arm, "dad?" Carl said, I turned to him as he said it and saw the misfire had caught Carl in the eye. He fell to the ground.

"NO!" Dad yelled as he picked him up. Michonne and I ran in front of him cutting through walkers as we headed toward the infirmary.

When we got there Denise went straight to work on helping Carl. Dad took off outside, "Rick!" Michonne yelled after him.

"I got him," I said and chased after him. We were killing all the walkers we could when we started to get cornered. Then the pond went up in flames and the walkers started going towards it.  We fought them all off and finally it was clear. That's when I saw Daryl. I ran to him and threw my arms around his neck.

All the walkers were killed and Denise was cleaning Daryl's wound then looked at mine, while dad talked to an unconscious Carl. I was cleaned up enough to see as Carl tightened his grip on dad's hand. I turned toward Daryl, who appeared behind me, and kissed him, then walked over to dad and hugged and kissed him on the top of the head.
