Soon someone came flying through the window -Anko-. she said that the next day their sensei's would lead them to their next faze of the exam. Sasuke caught up to Hoshi who was aimlessly walking around. He asked her to stay at his for the night so she went to her home, got her stuff and then walked to Sasuke's were she spent the night in his bed curled up to him. The next day the two walked hand in hand to Kakashi's meeting place and then to the next faze sight. The forest of death was a big place surrounded by a wire fence not to long after they got there they all went in after a couple of seconds there was a scream and the cause was Hoshi who had found a team and had just killed them and quickly feasted down on them before running towards the tower but she got a bad feeling and followed the chakra of Sasuke. She got to him but only to find him about to pass out... Stood in front of him was Orochimaru who looked up when she landed with a thud. The two battled but she retreated when Sakura got Sasuke and Naruto out of the way and away from Orochimaru.

Instead of trying to find Sakura and the other two she ran towards the tower she decided that if they asked she would say that she was knocked out and didn't have time to find them.

When The rest of team 7 did get to the tower they didn't ask Hoshi or even look at her which she to be perfectly honest didn't care she had other things on her mind like glaring at someone who was glaring straight back. when they did the preliminary round she got some little girl who was only 2cm shorter than her but she only jabbed her in the neck killing her. In doing so Hoshi was allowed to pass.
