I jumped up out my sleep in a cold sweat, my heart was beating so fast to the point I felt like I had to throw up. I closed my eyes and tried to get my breathing under control. Calm down Kai it's just a dream.
For the last week I've been having the same dream about East, it's always the same . He's calling out my name in a dark room but I can't see him or anything for that matter so I call out his name to try and follow his voice, and as soon as I get closer to his voice a gun goes off and his blood is splattered all over me.
After I finally got myself to calm down I looked over in the bed and saw that Naeem wasn't there so I got up to see if he was in the living room .
Hey , I woke up and you weren't laying next to me.
I got tired of you calling out that nigga name in your sleep so I came in here and laid on the couch.
I had no idea that I was saying East's name in my sleep and I instantly felt bad.
I'm sorry , I keep having this stupid ass dream and I don't know what it's about . The shit is scary as hell and it gives me an uneasy feeling like something bad is about to happen.

He let me go then kissed me on my forehead.

Hearing him say that made my heart skip a beat. This was the first time he ever let those words come out his mouth.
