It was a slow day for the Cardfight club at Miyaji academy. The school day was already over and aichi, misaki and kourin were spectating a match between Naoki and shingo.
"I WIN"!!!! Shingo said triumphantly
Drat, I lost again said Naoki
"A mere beginner can never beat me"!!!!! Laughed shingo.
Naoki began to growl at Shingo's taunts.
"Alright last matchof the day". Kourin said bringing out her deck. "Aichi let's fight"
"Hang on", misaki said "I thought I was going to fight Aichi next"?
"Sorry Misaki, I got dibs" Kourin said with a grin grabbing Aichi in the process moving him to the fight table.
Misaki sighed calmly trying to hide her disappointment and jealousy.
"Let's have a fun fight." Aichi said with a smile. Making Kourin blush. But Misaki started to get ticked off and was starring intensely at the two with jealousy.
Then Aichi noticed Misaki's gaze. "Is something wrong Misaki"? He asked.
Which snapped Misaki back to reality.
"Yeah, sorry just in deep though" she said
"Alright" he said without any worry returning his attention back to the fight.
But Aichi wasn't the only one who noticed Misaki's behavior, Kourin smirking because she snagged Aichi for the last match before Misaki could and now make her jealous.
Time skip~ after the fight
"Alright *yawn* I think it's time to head home". Naoki said with a tired look.
As the boys grabbed their bags and were about to head out the door, Misaki and Kourin stayed behind.
" Is something the matter you two"? Shingo asked.
"No just have to talk with Kourin for a sec, you guys can head out first". Misaki said.
"Are you sure because we can wait for you two outside if yo-" Aichi's sentence cut off by Naoki grabbing Aichi by the back of his uniform collar and dragging him.
"You two have fun!!!" Naoki yelled already at the stairs still dragging Aichi.
"Oh we will ". Kourin said smirking at Misaki who had a serious expression. " Misaki, I think I have an idea why you wanted to talk to me without anyone else here". She said
Misaki sighed.
"I want you to stop trying to steal Aichi from me" Misaki said with her arms crossed.
"Steal him? He was never yours to begin with". Kourin calmly stated with a smile.
"Come on I've liked him way longer than you have" Misaki said
"No way" Kourin said quickly defending her own feeling towards Aichi.
"I'm not backing down on this one" she said. "and if your not gonna either then we need a way to settle this".
Misaki now reaching for her deck before being stopped by Kourin
"No, I'm not gonna settle this with one simple game of vanguard". Kourin said
"Then how?" Misaki asked.
"Aichi is too pure and too dense to notice how we feel about him so why don't we have a little competition". Kourin stated.
"I'm listening". Misaki said
"Who ever can get Aichi to fall for one of us first keeps him." Kourin said.
"Ok, I get it makes sense" Misaki said calmly with a smirk now too. "Won't be hard" she said walking towards her new enemy.
"You think huh" Kourin said staring directly in Misaki's eyes, which were starring right back at her.
They both understood this was more than a small competition. This was war.
