Empress asked Ahri to help her with preparing Hyunjin's birthday. She also felt like Ahri knew him way better than she did.
"Should we use different balloons?" Empress asked Ahri for her opinion. "I think those are better than the other ones cause these are bigger" Ahri said and looked at the list. "Your grace did you check the menu?" Ahri asked as she looked at the Empress. "Right, I forgot. Let's go to the kitchen" Empress said and Ahri followed her.
The two were quite close and comfortable with each other, not all girls can find such a good mother-in-law. The two checked what they had to check and soon after Hyunjin came back with his dad.
Hyunjin greeted his fiancée with a quick kiss on the lips. "Mom can I steal her?" Hyunjin asked while hugging his girl. "You can have her" His mom said and giggled.
Hyunjin then grabbed Ahri's hand and took her to his room. "What is it?" Ahri asked as Hyunjin hugged her and placed his chin on her head. "Did something happen?" Ahri asked once again looking up to make an eye contact.
"I'm just worried, I feel like my dad is rushing our marriage too fast" Ahri gave him a smiled and wrapped her hands around his waist. "Jin-ah, if it's with you I don't mind it at all. I love you ok? So don't worry" He nodded and the two just stayed in each other's arms for few minutes.
After hanging out for a bit the two started getting ready. Ahri's parents were in Busan and she didn't want to be alone in the house so she stayed with Hyunjin.
"Woah my birthday boy looks so handsome as always" Ahri complimented her boyfriend as soon as she saw him in his red suit. "I'm not a fan of this" Ahri giggled and went to wear her dress. When she came back wearing red dress Hyunjin's eyes opened wide. "You know what babe I am actually a fan of this.. You look gorgeous" Ahri felt shy as Hyunjin kept staring at her beauty.
Hyunjin's maid knocked on the door and came in after he said to come in. "It's time" She said and Hyunjin took a deep breath. "It's your important day and I'm here for you, don't worry" Ahri said and patted his back. She then held onto his arm as the two walked towards the ball room.
There were already many guests who were bowing to the young couple. The party was going smoothly and at some point Ahri left Hyunjin to go see Felix and Erina. "Hii" Ahri said and hugged Erina. "I never expected this official parties be so lame. No cool music and there are mostly old people" Erina was really straightforward. The three of them talked for a while when Ahri noticed Hyunjin walking out of the ball room. "Uh, I'll be back" Ahri said and followed him.

"Hey guys did you see Ahri?" Hyunjin asked his friends. "We thought she was with you" Felix said making his friend a little bit worried. "Did you saw where she was going?" Hyunjin asked while looking around. "I think she went there" Erina said while pointing the way.
The three of them started going towards the hallway. The party was already ending so no one even noticed that Hyunjin isn't there anymore. Erina decided to check the firt door which was the study and library. But the door was locked. "Do your family lock the library?" Before Hyunjin could say anything a not very welcomed guest showed up. "Hii, Hyunjin" She said with her soft voice. "Eunsoo it's not a great time right now" Hyunjin replied as he tried to open the door. "Oh come on, it's your birthday" Hyunjin ignored her as he heard something fall in the library.
"Ahri-yah" Hyunjin said but the only thing he could hear was things falling down. "Guard!" Hyunjin screamed as he was getting more worried. Two men quickly came and bowed to Hyunjin. "Open this door" He gave them an order and they quickly started opening the door.

"Hyunjin-ah, why are you going to the library, huh?" No answer. "Yah, why are you ignoring me?" She quickly followed him into the library but when she walked in there was no one.
The door behind her shut, and she turned around. "Y-Yunho? Yah, what are you doing in those clothes!?" Ahri walked away a bit to make the gap between them bigger. "Ahri-yah, how could you leave me like that for HIM" Yunho started acting weird and it made Ahri scared. "How can I like someone like you?! You're disgusting to me" Ahri said which made him angry. He aggressively grabbed her hands with one hand and pulled out a ribbon and tied her hands.
"What are you doing?" Ahri asked with fear in her eyes. "You'll see" He then grabbed a piece of tape and placed it on her mouth so no one can hear her. Ahri at some point realized what he was trying to do so she tried her best to run away but she couldn't, he was too strong.
Yunho turned Ahri so her back was facing him and he pushed her onto the table. With one hand he was still holding her wrists while with the other one he pulled her dress up. Without any hesitation he slammed into her making her cry. She felt disgusting. Ahri felt like she let him do it by not being able to save herself.
She felt Yunho leaning on her so he could whisper, that's when she used the opportunity and hit his face with her head. He fell down and Ahri got up while pulling her dress down. She quickly walked away and started searching for some type of weapon. As she was looking for something he slapped her in the face making her eyes go wide. He got aggressive and again pulled her dress up and he once again slammed into the her body. Ahri couldn't look at him nor at herself. So she closed her eyes.
Both of them suddenly heard a door open. "Yah! You fucking asshole!" Hyunjin's voice filled the room and he punched Yunho in the face.
As Yunho was laying on the floor Hyunjin got on top of him and started beating him. Felix quickly tried to stop Hyunjin, while Erina helped Ahri. She gave her her jacket and covered her with it.
She gently took of the tape and untied the ribbon around her hands. "Hyunjin please stop!" She yelled and backhugged him trying to pull him away. Hyunjin stopped and Yunho didn't even try to run away as he had no strength. Hyunjin hugged Ahri tightly and she started crying onto his suit.
"You're safe now" he whispered to her as he was rubbing her back. The guards took Yunho away and will most likely be punished by the emperor as he had the courage to hurt future emperors wife.
Erina and Felix left the two alone. "Babe, look at me" Ahri raised her head and looked at him with her swollen red eyes. "I don't blame you, and you shouldn't blame yourself ok? It's not your fault that this guy is fucking messed up" He again wrapped her in his arms, comforting her.
He knew that what happend to her will scar her for a really long time but he wanted her to know that he's there for her and will make sure that she won't get hurt anymore. If he'll have to he'll kill Yunho just to protect his soon to be wife...
