Victoria let out a deep breath when she got out of the jet, this was it, she was in china, she was either going home successful or going home as a failure, she had already requested to have dinner with chief zo qua on the plane and he was more than willing to do so cause he saw her as the victim in this whole thing and she was going to make good use of that perspective.

she was taken to the same hotel her and Eric lodged the first time she came to china with him and shantel and the memory of their first night together came afresh in her mind, she shook her head to clear her thoughts, this time she wasn't here as a naïve girl, she wasn't here as the third wheel she was here as a mother and that's more important than any previous memory. when she entered the hotel room that was reserved by the chief, a smile crept up her face, it was a very beautiful room with pastel color interior decoration, there was something about the room that was just reminds you of fresh flowers, she loved it, if this was a different circumstances she would have loved to spend the holiday here, unfortunately she wasn't here for pleasure.

Victoria let out a breath and dropped down on the bed, she was scared but at the same time hopeful, the fate of her children were in her hands right now and she couldn't fail them, the sound of her phone brought her out of her train of thoughts but when she saw the call id she silenced her phone.

It was Eric the last person she wanted to speak to, her phone began to ring again and she did same, yes she still loved Eric, but she wasn't going to let him off the hook so easily, couples are supposed to get through things together, and the fact that he would believe Daniel over her, which made her blood boil with anger all over again, her phone began to ring again and this time with annoyance she picked without checking the caller id.

"What do you want Eric!" she said angrily

"its tony, not Eric and calm down dude, i and your sister are just worried about you" tony said on the other end.

"sorry i thought it was Eric" Victoria said and rolled her eyes.

"I don't know what he did but, since he was told that you went to china he's been going crazy, I guess you should talk to him" tony said.

"never happening, now if you don't mind I need to eat and rest i have a dinner meeting with zo qua and I want to be in the best state of mind, the future of my kids depends on this" Victoria said.

"okay, please rest and don't worry everything would be alright Christmas is by the corner, Christmas makes everything better just make a wish and Santa will grant it" tony said.

"if that's true Santa better changes zo qua's mind" Victoria said and rolled her eyes.

"be hopeful, things will get better okay?" tony said

"okay and please take care of my kids please, bye" she said and ended the call.

Victoria let out a deep breath, everything had to be alright, the sound of her stomach rumbling reminded her that she needed to eat so she put a call through and ordered for something to eat, and few minutes later her food was brought to her, and the sight of it really confirmed she was hungry so immediately the room service left she dived into the food, everything was delicious and mouth watering, by the time she was done she was filled to the brim, and almost immediately she felt sleepy so she set her alarm clock for nine since the dinner with the chief was for ten, afterwards the sleep claimed her.

The sound of the alarm clock woke her up and at that moment Victoria wished she could get a little more sleep but how could she, the future of her kids were in her hands so she dragged herself out of the bed and went to the bathroom, after a good long shower she felt refreshed again, and with that energy she decided to start her makeup, she had to put extra efforts to show she was happy in her marriage even tho right now her husband was the biggest jerk ever, she has been happy all these while, after her make up and styling her hair which she learnt from Isabella, she checked the time only to see she had fifteen minutes left to get ready, as fast as she could she put on the red off shoulder bandage dress she brought thanks to Isabella who insisted on it, then a louis Vuitton black stilettos and a matching black clutch purse then accessories, when she was done she took in her reflection in the mirror and she was more than confident that she looked amazing, she checked the time again it was already time, she was sure her driver was waiting for her, so as fast as she could she left her hotel room, when she got to the lobby a driver was already waiting for her, she gave him a smile and got into the car.
