"I find gravity interesting. Like, how does an apple fall from a tree? Isn't it supposed to be picked?"
Tubbo rolled his eyes. "I honestly don't know, Jessie," He replied, his voice laced with sarcasm.
"Anyways, you're kind of weird. What grade are you in?" She asked.
"Year 12- uh, I mean Junior. I'm a Junior," Tubbo responded.
She nodded. "Huh. That makes sense. I'm a senior. What was your name again?"
Tubbo frowned. "Tubbo. For the fifth time." He started to walk away from her.
"Wait! Mr. Bad said we need to be together for the day!" She called out to him.
Tubbo scoffed. "I'd be impressed if someone could stay with you for more than 5 minutes," he muttered. Tubbo made his way through the high school halls, ignoring everything weird going on and walking past, like a new yorker. He spotted a familiar figure and squinted his eyes.
"Man I really need glasses."
It was Tommy. Talking to...another boy? Tubbo started heading towards him. Soon he got in close enough proximity to hear their conversation.
"Pfft haha! I didn't know you were into Minecraft!"
"Well I don't play it all the time but it sounds fun to play it with you, Tommy."
Tubbo watched Tommy's face. Wait...is he blushing?!
Tommy laughed softly. "Thanks man. I have to head to 2nd period but I'll talk to you at lunch?"The boy nodded. Tubbo cleared his throat and nonchalantly stepped in. "Heyyy Toms!"
Tommy turned around and smiled. "Tubbo! How's it going with your partner?"
Tubbo shrugged. "What partner?"
Tommy realized and laughed. "Tubbo you sly dog. Well what are you gonna do now that you've got no partner?"
Tubbo shrugged again. "I was hoping we could pair up now."
Tommy paused and looked back. "Well the thing is I'm still with my partner Milo."
Milo. So that's his name. "Oh, no worries. Well, catch you at lunch?" Tubbo asked.
Tommy nodded. "Oh is it okay if I bring Milo?"
Tubbo hesistated for a moment. "Sure."
Tommy smiled. "Ok. See you!" Tubbo watched his best friend disappear into the crowd of backpacks and heads of hair.
"See you."

"It was crazy! You should've seen it Bee, the thing was like 40 feet tall!"
Tubbo watched Ranboo's eyes glow with excitement. "That's great Boo. I wish I could've come with you, but my mum thinks the light parade is a load of crap."
Ranboo shrugged. "It's fine. Maybe you can try going tomorrow. I'll be there again."
Tubbo laughed. "Boo, I think you've been there long enough. How bout we just go to the movies?"
Ranboo shrugged. "That's cool too."
The two friends made their way to their special table. They sat down and started eating and talking. Soon after Tubbo heard his name being called.
"Tubbo!"
He turned around and saw Tommy jogging towards him. His smile wavered as soon as he saw Milo.
Tommy gestured to Milo and then to Tubbo and Ranboo. "Milo, these are my friends Tubbo and Ranboo. Tubbo and Ranboo, Milo."
Milo waved shyly and smiled as he sat down. "Nice to meet you all."
Tubbo nodded and looked at Tommy, who was beaming at Milo. "Tommy."
Tommy looked at Tubbo. "Your food might be cold by the time we start talking."
Tommy looked down at his food. "Oh. Right."
Milo chuckled a bit at Tommy's aloofness and looked at Tubbo. "So, how long have you and Tommy been friends?"
Tubbo laughed. "Uh, only 2 days."
"2? Wow, not a while huh?"
Tubbo squinted his eyes. "...Yeah. I guess."
Milo nodded and turned back to Tommy. The two started talking and not even acknowledging Tubbo or Ranboo.
Tubbo turned to Ranboo, who was now nervously picking at his food again. He placed a hand on top of Ranboo's.
"It's okay," Tubbo mouthed to him.
Ranboo nodded. He looked up at Milo, his eyes darting around nervously. "So Milo."
The whole group stared at Ranboo, surprised that he spoke up.
"H-How long have you and T-T-Tom-T-"
"How long have I and Tommy been talking?" Milo interrupted Ranboo. "Only half a day so far." He smiled.
Tubbo glared at Milo. "Hey listen man I know you probably meant no harm but you can't interrupt Ranboo like that. He was trying to ask a question."
Tommy put out his hands. "Woah Tubbo it's fine. Milo was just answering his question."
Tubbo scoffed. "What's up with you? You're sucking up for Milo like he's your leader or something. You've only known him for half a day and you're already defending him against something that was wrong. Ranboo, what were you going to say?"
Ranboo looked down. "I w-was asking if-"
"He's never gonna finish the sentence! It makes sense that Milo cut him off!" Tommy stood up.
"Are you serious Tommy? I thought you were my best friend. I promised you that I'd always be by your side and this is what you repay me with?! This isn't you, Tommy. This isn't you." Tubbo stood up and grabbed his items.
"Let's go Ranboo. They're not worth our time."
Ranboo quietly got up and grabbed his backpack, walking away with Tubbo. He looked back at Tommy one more time before turning his back.
Tommy looked around and realized that everyone fell silent. Milo stood up. "What, are we a drama show to you? Move on!"
Everyone turned back to their lunches and friends and the volume rose again.
Tommy sat down. He stared at his food numbly and looked up at Milo. "I'm sorry."
Milo shook his head. "No I'm sorry. They shouldn't have left you like that. But I'm still here." Milo held out his hand.
Tommy took it. "Yeah."
