Chapter 5

Chimere’s POV

As I looked down at Jay, he looked so worried; I wasn’t able to say what the other emotion was that crossed his face.

“Chimere, I almost lost you, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you, I want to protect you, I want you to be mine, please be wife, please?”  Jay asked Chimere.

Chimere was still in shock, she couldn’t get a word out.

“Chimere please don’t tell me your having second thoughts, I know its soon, but I love you, and I would go craze if something had to happen to you, please, please say yes.” Jay sounded like he was on the verge of crying.

“YES!” Chimere said. “Yes, I’ll be your wife.”

Jay stood up and swung them around in a circle. “You have no idea happy you have just made me Mere, I’m the happiest man alive.” Jay said when he finally put her down.

“Guess what?! No don’t! I want to tell you! Netty is pregnant! Can you believe it? She’s pregnant!” Chimere screeched.

“Hold on there, come here for a second.” Jay said “I still need to slide the ring on your finger mere.” Jay chuckled.

“Oh.” Chimere blushed deeply.

“There you go mere.” Jay said “Come let’s go see Netty now.” Jay said.

“Wow Chim, It’s a beautiful ring. Congratulations you two.” Netty said

“And I believe a congratulations is in order for you as well Netty. Congratulations on your little one that’s on the way.” Jay said while he hugged Netty.

“Thank you Jay. Well I’m going to visit some friends.” Netty said “I’m going to pack so long”.

“You’re going away?” Chimere asked looking all sad.

“Yes, I just need to get my head clear, and think of some things.” Netty said

“Well, ok then. I’m going to take Jay out, so I’ll say goodbye then, drive safely and take care of baby.”

Chimere said

Netty hugged her.

“See you in a few days.” And Netty walked to her room.

“We should plan Netty something.” Chimere said to Jay

“Maybe a massage or…” Chimere grinned widely “A shopping trip! We are going to buy that baby of hers so many things!” Chimere said.

“Well you two can do the shopping trip; I won’t be joining for that, me and shops we do not go well together.” Jay said.

“Fine we will, but you owe us then Mr” Chimere said to Jay.

“Oh really now?”

“Yes really, now go get ready so that you can take me out.” Jay said as he softly smacked her behind.

“Yes boss.” Chimere giggled and went to go get ready.

“I want it!” Chimere yelled as she crossed her arms over her chest.

“Mere, not now, can’t you just wait?

“NO! You’re a jerk! I want it and I want it now!!! Not later, not tomorrow, not in a while NOW!!!!” Chimere yelled.

“Fine. Geez your worse than a kid, you know that?” Jay said. “Fine, Fine I’m getting it, wait right here.” Jay said as he let Chimere sit on the chair.
