How dare he wake me up every morning at 6 am saying "Oh prince Roman you must get up, you have deadlines".
Like, what the heck?! He doesn't do this to Remus!
-Why don't you go bother Remus ?!!- I snapped.
- Because, you are the next in line to the throne, besides this time it's something different and urgent.- he responded
-What is it?- I respond groaned.
-Its your father, he's fallen ill- Logan responded with worry in his usually monotone voice.
I get up quickly and hurry to Remus's room.
-GET YOUR FAT BUTT OUT HERE!!- I YELL.
Soon the door opens to show a very confused Remus .
Before he can say anything, I cut him off.
- Father's fallen ill!- I say hurriedly.
His eyes widened.
*Time skip to after the talk with Thomas*
-We need an antidote and we need it now!- Remus said.
-Yes, but were from? All our healers are the best in all the land and no one knows what to do- Emile's worried voice responded.
- I've done my research and actually there is a solution- Logan stated.
-WELL WHAT IS IT?!!!- Roman and Remus yelled simultaneously.
Logan sighed and began telling them an ancient myth.

They were the keepers of peace, the rulers of all wildlife, mythical and normal .
One day a human entered the wood, looking for help for his sick friend, the guardians helped him, like they always did if anyone or anything needed their help.
After gathering the right materials, the snake went with the human, whilst the other two attended to other creatures in need of help.
The human led the snake to an old shack, the snake didn't know what would happen after that.
He walked into a circle... A circle made to hold a powerful being....
It was an ambush! Many humans came out of nowhere and lit the circle a flame!
The snake tried to get out but he couldn't, he was terrified, the fire was burning his clothes as he screamed in pain, his voice alerting some animals nearby, who recognised their guardian and rushed to the other guardians for help.
Just as the others arrived they saw a gigantic snake roaring in agony.
The humans we're all dead, the snake didn't mean to kill them, it was an act of self defense.

-And once it reverted back to normal, they closed of the forest, so no one can get in or out - Logan finished.
-What do they have to do with dad?- Roman asked.
-Because, none of our healers can help the king- Logan sighed.
-You're not really considering that they would actually help us, are you?- Remus asked sceptically.
- THERE'S NO WAY IM LETTING THEM NEAR FATHER!- ROMAN SHOUTED.
-Alright, that's enough Roman!- Emile snapped.
-Yeah, stop over reacting Roman, if Logan says there could be a chance that they would agree to help the king, I think it's best that we at least try for his sake, don't you?- Patton asked.
-Yeah, you're right, sorry that I got mad- He apologized.
-That's alright, I think it be best to send an owl to the forest to at least warn them that were coming- Logan stated.
