5) Telling the Family (HIS)

HIS FAMILY

You and Harry were sat on the couch waiting to Skype with his parents. Today was the day! You had thought long and hard about how you were going to break the news to both yours and his parents. Harry's left knee was bouncing with anxiety. "Harry relax! Stop stressing!You know they're going to be excited!" You smiled as you placed your hand on his knee. He smiled at you softly,but before he could speak , you were interrupted. Harry accepted the Skype call as Anne & Robin appeared on the screen.

"Hey Mum!" Harry said excitedly "Hello Sweetheart! Hello Y/N ! How are you guys?!" "Hi, we're great thanks and you guys?" you smiled "Ah we can't complain " Robin smiled shifting the camera to get both of their faces into focus. "Where's Gem?" inquired Harry. "Oh you just missed her ! She's out getting a few last minute things before she meets up with you guys on the tour. " Said Anne. "Oh well .....we're just going to have to tell her another time then".

Anne looked at you both with suspicion as both yours and Harry's faces lit up "What are you two up to now?" giggled Anne. "Well we were going to wait to tell you guys but we can't. "smiled Harry. "Did you get our present we sent?" "Yes! thank you ! the note said that we were not allowed to open it though until you said it was safe? What exactly does that mean?" frowned Robin "Well , we wanted to see your guys faces when you opened it because,Harry and I worked hard on that gift!" you winked at Harry who's hand had now intertwined with yours. Anne rose from her chair and fetched the bright red gift box that laid on the kitchen counter.

"Ok..." she said as she plopped back down in the seat and started to untie the decretive ribbon. "Wait! Nothing is going to explode out this box is it?!" Robin paused with Alarm. "No Dad don't be silly !" Harry giggled "Mum keep going." he encouraged.

Once Anne had removed the lid and dig through the light sky blue tissue paper , she froze "Anne?what is it?" Robin asked as he tilted the box to peer inside too to try and understand what the astonishment was all about. "I don't get it?" Robin asked in confusion. You and harry chuckled to yourselves as Anne's brain worked overtime! Tears started to fill in the brim of her eyes as she turned to face you on the screen! "Oh My Goodness?" she sighed happily. "Hang on!" exclaimed Robin "I don't understand!" Anne lifed the gift out the box. She examined the light brown teddy bear that was wearing a blue diaper and a matching blue bib. Written on the bib was "Baby's First Best Friend" in delicate pink cursive. Anne cuddled it close to her chest , tears now spilling from her eyes as she began to chuckle with excitement! "Wait ! Hang on !!! Y/N are you pregnant?!" exclaimed Robin as he peered into the camera with shock! You and Harry started to beam with excitement "A whole 3 weeks!' you smiled proudly. "MY LITTLE BOY IS GOING TO BE A DADDY!" Anne exclaimed as she jumped up from her seat in excitement ." I have to phone your sister! She needs to get her butt home right now! Oh my goodness i cannot believe it!" "Congratulations you two! This is truely incredible news....I know you are both going to be amazing parents!" smiled Robin "And you grandparents!" chuckled Harry. When Anne finally came back she congratulated you both once again. "Im sorry we couldnt break the news to you in person, we were going to wait until Harry's break in the tour, but that is still a whole month away and we couldnt wait that long! I hope thats ok " you smiled feeling abit bad that Harry's mom couldnt hug him or anything like you could clearly see in her eyes that she wanted to. "My angel, Y/N, its ok! Just make sure that same night of the last show both your butts are on the next plane home, ok ?" Anne reassured " OK! Its a deal" you smiled

You spoke a while longer, until you eventually had to say goodbye. Your parents in-law congratulated you both once more before blowing a kiss through the computer screen and signing off.

You turned to look at Harry, who leaned in to kiss you. When he pulled away , the smile on his face was indescribable! "I love you so much!" he whispered just inches away from your lips "I love you more!" you smiled back blissfully.
