Clancy Crew had a secret.

His heart was racing as he speed walked towards Ruby's house, knowing what was about to happen. She would understand him, wouldn't she? She would accept him, wouldn't she? They had been best friends for years, surely Ruby wouldn't end it over this.

Clancy arrived at Ruby's posh dwelling slightly out of breath, and with his nerves at an all time high. He rang the doorbell with a shaky hand.
Mr Redfort answered the door.
"Hello Clancy." he said. "Come in."
Clancy entered cautiously, like this house was new to him and that he had never been there before. He slowly walked up the fluffy carpeted stairs, one by one, until he reached Ruby's room.
