Why why dad?
Why dad  why do yo have to leave me .
You go away for weeks on end.
You come back for 2 day and then laeve again.

Mom's heart brakes as she watches you leave.
Her eyes start to tear up but she holds it back as you leave.
Moms is tired.
She takes care of us before herself.

Mom is hurting.
We dont know how to fix it.
Dad please come back dad please.
Dad it hurts me and brother when you leave.

One day at school the teacher handed out a flier
That said dad daughter dance.
I cryed when i got it because you are at work. 
I know that it would never happen that you would go with me.

Why does it hurt when you leave.
Dad you try to catch up on whats happening in our family.
Dad you miss the small moments like me riding my bike for the first time.
You say that its ok but its not you work so hard to keep food on the table.

Dad you miss fathers day because of work when you come home.
we try to celebrate but you dont want to.
Dad  we miss you when you are on the road .
We pray that nothing bad will happen to you.
