Misunderstanding

3rd person POV

Midoriya was on his desk, answering the homework aizawa gave them for tomorrow, he'd been staying up all night answering. he yawned as he stretched.

' I need coffee.. '

He stood up and walked out of his dorm room and used the elevator to go down to the 1st floor, he was walking to the kitchen as he heard a voice, which sounded like todoroki and yaoyorozu. He didn't wanna eavesdrop on their conversation, but he felt like he need to hear it. He peeked a little to see.

" Don't worry yaoyorozu.. let's keep it a secret for now.. "

The 2 hugged causing midoriya to back away from the wall, his footstep made a creak on the floor, grabbing todoroki and yaoyorozu's attention. Midoriya then quickly ran back the the elevator and before todoroki could see who it was, the elevator closed.

" Someone.. saw us.. "

Midoriya quickly went back to his room and closed his door, he put his hands on his mouth. He couldn't believe what he saw.

' Is todoroki.. cheating on me? With yaoyorozu..? No- why would he be cheating on me.. he hasn't asked me to be his boyfriend.. so why am I troubled? '

He walked over to his bed and lays down curling up to a ball, he laid there over thinking everything he just witnessed.

' Right, he could still fall in love with somebody else.. but, he promised me he'd never..- agh..forget it. '

Midoriya sighs as he hugs a pillow.

Don't cry! Don't cry! Don't cry!

He repeatedly said to himself as he felt the sudden urge to cry, he gulped it up.

' I can't cry over this.. who am I kidding? Of course he'd go after yaoyorozu.. she's kind, she's smart, she's beautiful.. she's basically perfect. How did I not see this coming. '

He sat up as he went back to his desk and continued with his homework, trying to distract himself.

' Focus.. izuku. '

{ Next day }

All class 1-A passed their homeworks infront. midoriya kept quiet which was kind of odd, considering he would be talking to his friends by now.

A ; Class dismissed.

Aizawa said as he left the classroom. Todoroki walks up to midoriya with a small smile on his face.

" Midor— "

Before he could finish his words, midoriya went to bakugo, and smiles enthusiastically.

' Kacchan! Let's go practice my black whip! '

B ; Tch! You better have improved! Or I'll beat your damn face deku!

' Yes! I've been working on it! '

Todoroki felt like he was ignored, but he shrugged it off thinking that maybe midoriya was just excited to learn more about his black whip.

" I'll just talk to him later. "

It went on like that for the whole day, everytime todoroki would come up to midoriya, he would immediately go to bakugo. Completely ignoring him.

" Why is he.. "

Until the next 3 days, it was still the same. Midoriya would often be seen around bakugo, he never looked or talked to todoroki. Which concerned everyone, considering the fact that todoroki didn't look well. He looked awfully sad that midoriya was ignoring him. He couldn't ask why since he's been avoiding him or any conversation with him.
