I panicked, ready to go after her when a shrill voice interrupted me.
"Jamie I am so sorry for your loss. How are you faring. I thought that I will stay with you help you recover.. Forget your loss"
I felt my hackles rising. The last person I wanted to see right now was before me.
" Kate" I said coldly, ready to throw her out of my house. I didn't have to be a genius to figure that my Allie was playing the matchmaker. After I get rid of this bitch I was going to show Allie why she shouldn't be doing this again. I gritted my teeth.

"I think your presence in my house is unnecessary if not absolutely unpleasant. I am not going to deal with you again get out"
I said already walking towards the front door to show her out. But she ignored me lounging on the couche kicking off her heals. I pinched the bridge of my nose. Cursing my libertine days.

"I said get out. I am calling the cops if you don't leave right now"

I felt Allie's beloved hand on my back trying to calm me, I twisted around capturing her before she can escape.

"Come on Jamie, I love you I am just here to comfort you"

Kate said trying to move seductively towards me but I stepped away dragging Allie along with me.

"Okay Katie I give in, but please sit there, let me get you something to drink" I said giving her my charming smile.
A sudden intake of breath near me made me realize that Kate wasn't the only one I had fooled.
Serves her right I thought, as I dragged Allie to my office. As soon as the door closed behind us she tried to struggle out of grasp.

"What is it Allie don't you want to see how well I  move on. How I am going to enjoy it."

She sniffed turning her head away from me, I opened the drawer pulling out the gun I almost shot myself with yesterday.

Allie's face was one of absolute horror but I ignored going back to gloating Kate in the living room.
"What are you doing, stop it. I am sorry please" Allie's voice was barely a whisper as she tried to stop me.But I ignored her. From where I was standing Kate had her back towards me. I took aim and fired at the vase near her it was comical seeing her jump a foot in the air. Before she shrieked, shouting obscenities at me, running away as fast as her legs could carry her.
