As the main event began. She bought a two lantern and give the other one to him.

"I don't do such thing" he said in a cold voice.

"What? You are no fun. Come on, you just have to write your wish on the lantern and then threw it in the sky." She said happily and pass him the lantern. He received it with no complain and just looked at her.

'This is literally no ordinary woman'

Amethyst sat on the rock and write her wish quietly but with a smile, Phoenix started to write his wish.

"Are you done? Let's fly it together." She said happily, her purple eyes intoxicating him.

"One, two, three..." they threw their lanterns in the sky slowly, together with the other. The dark sky filled with flying lantern made Amethyst happy inside her heart.

"What did you wish?" He said in confusion.

"I can't tell you that."

"Why? Because it'll never happen?" He chuckled as if he were teasing her.

"Because...It'll cost you your life." She said and laughed from the bottom of her heart. Phoenix didn't get mad at her words instead, he just looked at her and smile.

'This woman is really something. She's intoxicating me with her eyes and smile'

"So...uhm, let's part our ways here. Thankyou for tonight." She bowed while walking backward slowly with a smile.

"Wait, what's...what's your name Lady?" Amethyst kept silent for a while then answered.

"Eve...my name is Eve."

"Thankyou Eve."

She got home when she realized she forgot to ask for his name. 'Doesn't matter, I don't even give my real name.'

The sun has risen and while doing her everyday routine someone came in the evacuation center. Arthur greet the visitor and when she heard the guest say the name 'Eve' she hurriedly went to the door.

"What do you need Sir? This is she."

"Oh, woman I noticed that you already forgot me." The visitor said with a smile on his face. Amethyst slowly looked at Arthur with confusion.

"This is Sir Dixon, child. He is the right hand man of Commander Adelard of Phoenix Elite who rescued the slaves six months ago. She immediately looked at Apollo then bow respectfully.

"Ah right. My apologies Sir Dixon, It's been a while. What brought you here?"

"Commander Adelard ordered me to take you to the Citadel City. It seems that he saw a talent in you."

"What? What talent are you talking about?"

"He told me that you are good at archery, and he seems to want you join the Phoenix Elite."

'How...how did he saw me doing archery?'

"It's an honor to join the Phoenix Elite Sir Dixon but, I'm not a very skilled person."

"Trust me woman, If Commander Adelard says that you have a talent, he meant it."

"..."

"Prepare what is essential to bring. We will depart to Citadel City now."

Amethyst went to her room, confusion still wandering in her mind. It's not like she don't want to join the Phoenix Elite but, she's not confident enough to join because archery is the only defence she knew and sword is not her thing.

She packed her things, most importantly her bow and quiver hanging on her shoulder. Outside the evacuation  enter, one carriage waiting for her to depart. While on their way to Citadel City she asked Apollo.

"Sir Dixon, how far is Citadel City from town?"

"It takes two hours by horse and four hours if it's carriage." She fell silent as she wander how long will she keep sitting and thinking that it already made her ram numb.

Inside the noiseless carriage, she's still thinking how did the Commander of Phoenix Elite knew that she is skilled at archery.

'I already forgot what he looked like because I only seen his face two times. I just know that he is a cold man'

They arrived before the sun set, she was amazed by the Citadels Castle. When she got off at the carriage, a tall and white wall appeared on her sight. It is indeed luxurious outside, extremely ancient but strong. Apollo led her to her room as he instructed her that the Commander will meet her tomorrow.

'It's quite spacious.' Her room was just next to the other knights room. She arranged her things and placed her bow on the side of the bed. A womans voice suddenly heard at her door.

"Ms. Eve, the dinner is ready." The Citadels maid appeared in front of her when she opened the door.
The maid led her to the dining area where the other knights are eating and already seated.

All of them stop what they are doing when they noticed a woman entering the dining area, they fell into a completely silence for a while. Amethyst stood frozen as she don't know what to do. Apollo broke the silence when he stood up from his seat and walk towards her.

"This is Ms. Eve, she will be at the training area for a month or two as she were going to be the first woman on the Phoenix Elite."

Murmurs of the knights filled the dining area. They could not believed what they heard, 'A woman on the Phoenix Elite?'.

"Sir Dixon, we are Phoenix Elite we don't have to recruit a newborn bird." Everyone laugh from the bottom of their stomach as one of the knights protest.

"Yes you are right. But, a phoenix was once a newborn bird before it become stronger and powerful." Apollo replied and the knights fell into silence. Slowly knodding their heads in approval to Apollo's speech.

"I hope that you don't bring trouble to her and respect her as your comrade. It's the Commanders order." He then return to his seat and continue eating. Amethyst found a seat and eat silently.

"Greetings Ms. Eve, I'm Daniel Caleb. My apologies for their behaviour, you know...this is the first time that a woman joined us." A young knight beside her greet her joyfully.

"Greetings to you Sir Caleb. Don't worry about your comrades behaviour, such words doesn't hurt me or offend me."

"Just call me Caleb Ms. Eve, I'm nineteen years old. I too, I'm just new here."

"Really? Then...just call me Eve. I don't usually like using honorifics."

"O-okay Eve, I hope you will be comfortable staying here." Amethyst just smiled at him and continue eating.
