The person threw her to the floor, as she frantically tries to scramble up. The cold tiles in the classroom sent a shiver up Sams spine and she manage to get up, only to be grabbed by her shirt collar and pulled back.
She tries to let out a scream, but it was useless. No one was there, breaking into the school for a prank wasn't worth this.
The person held her down with their foot, pinning Sams chest to the ground. She let out a gasp, trying to grab at desks and chairs in an attempt to pull away, but it was useless. Every chair and desk leg was just out of her reach.
"Aren't you supposed to be at home?" The cold voice asked, tsking. Such a shame...maybe if you didn't come back you could've been okay."
Sam let out a loud, panicked sob, as the person standing on her crouched over. A blade was brought to her throat causing her to bite her tongue and try to pull back as far as her spine would allow.
"P-please d-don't- I-I-I'll-" she quit talking as the knife was pressed closer.
"Shh...it's alright. I'll make it as quick as I can if you be quiet." The voice responded.
Sam let out a small whimper, holding her eyes shut tightly. The blade was pressed closer, suddenly cutting through her throat. Sam tried to scream, but he only sound that left her mouth was a gurgle as blood spilt out. She gasped for air as she tried to focus her sight of something.
All she could see was the red blood seeping into the now stained carpet as the pressure was released from her back. She spasmed in pain, trying to scream again. She rolled over, watching the person leave the room.
As time went on, not as much blood came out from her mouth nor the wound. Her hazy vision slowly caused the world to mix together.
She let a final gurgling breath for the last time as her eyes glazed over.
She was dead.
