{AMELIA}
Amelia happily walked into school, being the first time since the body of Samantha Edison had been discovered in Mrs. Hilts classroom. She remembered how Esmond reacted, gagging and dragging her from the room. She was very confused by how upset Esmond was. He hadn't spoken until they got to the next classroom, and when he tried too and stumbled over, puke pouring from his mouth.
She hadn't understood what was happening until the police arrived. She was asked so many questions, but she had no answers to give.
She shook her head and went to looking for her friends, wondering if Rosa was at school since she had been at home sick with the flu a few days before the murder.
She stopped at her locker, dropping off her backpack and the things she wouldn't need for the first class, before walking off to search for Esmond.
{ROSA}
The cold air nipped at her face as she walked to school. Rosa had just dropped her brother off at his elementary school.
She pulled her sleeves over her hands to keep them warmer.
She walked up to the school entrance, seeing that not as many people were parked in the parking lot in front of the school. She assumed it was due to the shock and fear from the murder.
She opened the door and walked inside, immediately met with a tight hug from Christian.
"You're back! Thought you'd still be sick!" He shouted, receiving a hug back.
"Yea, thought it'd last forever honestly." She smiled, "where are the others?"
They let go of each other as Christian shrugged
"I'm not sure, I've been waiting for you...let's go look for them!" He ran off, not waiting for Rosa as he knew she'd follow eventually. Rosa caught a glimpse of a police officer walking into the school, honestly not looking very professional.
They seemed exhausted, possibly having a hangover. Rosa stared at them for a moment, freezing and looking away as soon as eye contact was made, before she quickly followed in the direction of Christian.
{Esmond}
He stuffed his bag into his locker, slamming it shut. He avoided the hallway that he had regretted ever walking down, dreading having to go to his class. He took a deep breath and turned away from the hall, instead heading to the restrooms, wanting to hide. He heard his name called just before he slipped into the safety of the cold empty room.
He froze when the door opened, his paranoia telling him it was someone who had come to hurt him. But once he turned around he met Christians joyful expression.
"Hey! Haven't seen you in a while! Rosa is back." Christian spoke, stepping forward to fill the awkward distance between the two.
"Er- hey Christian-" he said with an uneasy chuckle, "Rosas back? Where's she at?" He tried to push away the dreadful feeling lurking in his mind as he spoke.
"Oh! She was over by the doors! I'm sure she's nearby" Just as Christian opened the bathroom door the bell rang. "Oh! Well, I'll see you in science Esmond!" He smiled, waving as he left the bathroom.
Esmond frowned. Slowly exiting the bathroom and looking down the hall to his first class.
This was going to be a long day.
