So, Latte was walking home from work one day, she was more excited than ever. Why? Because her husband, Almond Cookie, Was helping a D.A (Defense Attorney) work on a case. Usually, he never works on cases with that kind of stuff, so she wonders why but still is excited.
Walking into her home with her 2 kids and her husband, she sees him sitting with coffee in one hand, and his other on his face visibly stressed. She takes off her hat and walks over to the table where Almond is located. She asks, "Hey, are you alright, dear?", He responds with a light, yet simple nod. She knows Almond more than the guys he talks with at the Emergency Magical handling Police Department, and replies to Almond's nod saying, "Listen Almond?" he replies with, "Yeah, Latte?" And then, Latte says, "You don't look all that alright, why don't you take a mini-break? I'm sure Walnut would LOVE to help you with this case or use your coat and be like you." Then she giggles and Almond replies, "I-I can't Latte, as much as I want too, I can't. I have to turn this case in by the end of the week." Latte then says, "But it's Monday?" And Almond replies with, "Fine, I'll take a mini-break, just 5 minutes." Then, Walnut Cookie walks downstairs because she heard her mom from upstairs, with Cream Puff Cookie who fell asleep for a nap. Walnut runs downstairs and says, "MOMMM!!! YOUR HOME!!!" And Latte giggles and opens her arms to hug Walnut. And that's exactly what Walnut does. Latte then says, "Why don't you help your dad with his case? He seems like he needs some help." Almond chimes in and says, "I'm alright Latte, thank you Walnut, but no thank you." Walnut then says, "Pleaseeee?" Almond sighs and says, "Fine, but can you grab me another coffee, Latte?" Latte chimes in, "No, love. You've had far too much coffee if you're that stressed, have some water instead." *She grabs a water bottle and gives it to Almond*. Almond ends up falling asleep on the couch, Latte thinks, "Wow, he looks so peaceful. I think I'll just make dinner and wake him up then."
1 Hour later, she finishes dinner.
Latte finishes making dinner and calls down Walnut and asks her to awake Cream Puff, and then Cream Puff comes downstairs. Latte says, "Almond, wake up dear! Dinner is ready!" He's dead to sleep. Latte then says, "Almond, dear?- Walnut, Cream Puff, Wake your father?" Walnut nods like her father and Cream Puff says "Kay mom!" While they shake Almond awake, Latte is setting up dinner, then Almond finally wakes up and says, "What happened?" Latte then says, "You fell asleep for 4 hours, Almond! And I made dinner, so come eat." Almond sighs and says, "Alright, Latte. After this I'm going to bed though, alright?" Latte nods while serving plates.
After thirty minutes they all finish their food and Almond heads to sleep while the other kids and Latte watch TV and end up falling asleep at 11 at night.
