“I’ll give you 20,000 bucks Troy,” She whispered into my ears, venomously
Could I do it though? Could I break Ivery’s heart?
Yes, Yes I could. And I would. I needed to. I had to save my brother.
Meet Ivery Roadwell, Weather Ways social reject. No thanks to her ex best friend; Rose.
All Ivery dreamed of, was a simple life. Nothing extravagant or one full of riches. Money didn’t matter for her. Relationships don’t last when money was intwined; she should know.
When Ivery’s mother died, leaving Ivy alone; abandoned with her work – acholic Dad, things changed; and not for the best.
Size Twenty –Three Ivy is now, after piling on the weight when her mother left. Drank alcohol. Self Harmed. Depressed. Ivy is one messed up girl.
“Physco, weirdo, emo, whale,” the few, heart shattering words, which were continuously shouted at her and crept up in her dreams. Ivy was living a nightmare.
Meet Troy Buchan, 17. To the public eye, he is rich, popular and stunningly handsome.
“Perfect life” he leads, they all say. Being captain of the football team and the most popular boy in the school. “A player” Cliché right?
May be so at school, but at home, he’s a broken soul; much like Ivery. At home, Troy isn’t rich, he works his butt off, just to keep a firm roof over his families head. But the most important person in his life? His brother. Who, at the young age of seven, is fighting leukaemia. But he isn’t winning. The cancer is taking over his body, cell by cell. He’s slowly crumbling away, and it might be too late to save him. Troy needs money, to pay for his brothers treatment, to save his life; and quick.
Troy is being paid to break Ivery’s heart. Seems an easy job? But what happens when you start falling for your own trap?
Will Troy break Ivery’s heart, or will there be a change of heart?
One thing; Ivery is falling for Troy; Hard. But will Troy catch her? Or let her fall?
And is she the only broken soul falling?
