Inseparable| Vi x Oc

Four

We were in the abandoned part of The Last Drop, Vi was punching the fighting machine thing. "Hey, Iris, come give this this your best." I shrugged and made my way over. I've used this thing a few times but could never manage to beat Vi.

I punched and dodged the machine for what felt like forever, but I was still going. Mylo spoke. "Remind me why we bother with this dump." "Because- Vander said- to lay- low." I said in between punches. "Plus," Vi added. "Enforcers never come down here, so this is as good as a place as any."

I finished the machine, I was second as usual. It didn't really bother me though, I knew Vi was better then I'd ever be. "What's the matter Mylo? Scared Powder's gonna beat you again?" "He definitely is-" "Hey, if she didn't keep fixing these things, I wouldn't keep missing.

Powder popped up from behind the counter Mylo was at making him jump, and me laugh. She plugged in the machine and the figures came up. Mylo started shooting, but he missed every shot.

"You guys know I wouldn't take you on a job you couldn't handle, right?" Vi said, not looking at anyone. "Are you serious Vi? That was the most fun I've had on a job." Mylo agreed. "Yeah, maybe just don't take Powder next time."

Powder gave him a look then loaded her gun. She shot all the targets perfectly not missing a single one. Powder gave Mylo a nasty look and walked away. "Yeah! Go Powder!" "Oh shut up Iris." Mylo sulked.

"Oh Iris that reminds me," Mylo started. "Is there something you want to tell Vi?" My chest fluttered, he was being a dick as usual. I looked at Vi then back at him. "No." "Are you sure? Cause yesterday you admitted to-" "I didn't admit to anything Mylo, so shut up."

Mylo liked to push my buttons, he was the only person that could. He started singing. "Iris and Vi sitting in a tree, k-i-" I shut him up as a started to storm towards him but just as I was about go  down a man was thrown through the glass, and enforcers were on the other side. I jumped and let out a gasp. Vi grabbed my torso and pulled me back. The enforcers looked at all of us. "Search them." One ordered.

"Go ahead idiots, we have nothing." Mylo said, cockily. Powder looked scared, like she was hiding some thing. "She has something doesn't she" I whispered to Vi. "Yep." Vi gave Claggor a look and he turned off the lights. 

Vi immediately ran and dragged me beside her. She grabbed the sign of Mylo that was for the target on the machine, and threw it at an enforcer. I smiled. "Nice." "Thanks Hun." She winked, which gave me the stomach feeling.

I started to run this time, going for Powder. I grabbed her hand and dragged her with Vi and I. We ran into a back room but were trapped. Enforcers on each side. I tightened my grip on Vi and she did the same.

Just then a whistle was heard and a ladder dropped, it was Ekko, little man. "Over here!" Vi jumped up first, then the others followed. I helped Powder up than it was my turn. Just as I was about to make it to the top one of the enforcers grabbed my leg. I let out a yell and kicked them in the head with my other foot.

When I got up Vi kicked the ladder causing some of the enforcers on the ladder to fall. "You need to hide those crystals." I heard Vi said to Powder. "Yeah, no shit." 

As we got back to the basement I sat on the couch next to Vi, per usual. Claggor and Mylo looked at each other and started singing. "Iris and Vi sitting in a-" I cut them off by standing up on the table in front of us. "Shut up before-

Cutting me off was the toy monkey, that meant enforcers were here. We all ran to hide. I didn't have much time so I followed Vi and stood put next to her. We were balancing on a pipe, though I didn't have good balance so I was relying on the poll above me.

Powder was slipping, she was going to fall. The enforcer searched the room for what felt like forever. Powder was loosing grip. Just as the enforcer left, she fell letting out a yelp. I sighed with relief as did everyone else.

Vander came in. "You all okay?" Vi jumped down, as did I and everyone else. "No we're not okay, they almost say Powder, what if they took her?" "No one is taking any of you, I'd never let that happen." I decided to speak up. "It's already happening, Vander. They won't stop till they find us." Vi agreed. "Yes, thank you. We need to fight back!" She slammed her fist on the wall causing everyone to look at her. "If you won't, I will."

Vander sighed, he knew Vi just wanted to protect the family, I don't blame her. Vander then took Vi out, I'm not sure where though.
