Late at night

I woke up and saw that it was still late. L wasnt next to me yet so he probably got caught up in the kira case. I got up and grabbed him a glass of water and a small piece of cake.

"Hey l"I said and placed the water and cake next to him. He looked up at me and smiled that adorble smile. "Thank you darling"

I smiled back and leaned down to peck his lips. He looked back at the screen with a small smile on his face still.

I sat down and ran my fingers through his hair with my head on his shoulder. I kissed his neck and stood up. "Come to bed at some point okay?"

"Il try" he said in his tired voice. 

I walked back to the bedroom and laid down. I couldnt fall asleep.

A few minutes later I heard the bedroom door open, and then close. I feel L pull the blanket over my body and the hug me close to him. I  smiled and  breathed in his scent. He was brething gently onto the top of my head.

I soon fell asleep to the sound of L's brething.
