((Mals POV))
Its been a long night... worked to the bone next to my computer, Going through emails. Looking into the bosses work, etc.

((Vox doesn't like doing any hard labor...)), I thought in my head.

You see, I'm Vox's receptionist and I'm paid well, with sacrifices. That may include... staying up late, Having to deal with angry consumers, and since being right next to his "work office" I have to hear EVERYTHING that goes on in there...

(End Mals POV))

"Good thing I'm off for the day..." mal logs off his computer, grabs his suitcase which is full of Ibuprofen, a couple of pens that are black and red colored, and a binder that is full of 'to do' lists.

Spinning slightly counterclockwise he hops off of his desk chair and down the hall. With his suitcase in one hand and car keys in the other he somehow manages to push the button for the elevator so that the doors swing open.

As he waits for he elevator he takes a glance at the ceiling, then back up at the floor, then at the still closed elevator doors.

Just then he noticed that he forgot his phone over at his work desk. Eyes widened and heart beating fast, he sprints back down the hall and to his working space. Opening his suitcase to put his keys inside and grabbing his phone from the other side of the desk. He hears the familiar ding of the elevator doors opening and he here's the scoff of the elevator assistant.

"Fuck. Coming!!!" Mal says nervously.

"You better hurry or else I'm leaving your ass.." scoffs the angry elevator assistant.

Clipping the suitcase closed and holding his phone in his left hand, he sprints back to the elevator.

Before he entered the Elevator he met with the gaze of the elevator assistant, this assistant happened to be an imp, a small imp, he had a goatee and also fittingly, a goat looking stature. He looked older but still wore clean attire and seemed to be ready to leave for home as well.

"Thanks, I guess." Murmurs Mal as he makes his way to the corner of the metal room.

"Mhm." Replied the elevator Assistant.

"I'll be going to the first level, going home" Mal says.

The assistant then steps on the stool that has been provided to him for his work since he is not as tall as most demons.

He then placed a finger on a dim button that had the number "1" engraved on it and pushed it. As the button was pressed it also glowed brighter and the metal room shifted lower. The whole ride there was silent, awkward too. You would think that since this building was pretty tall and there was only one elevator the assistant would strike up a conversation to pass the time with the people inside.

Mal says Nervously, "So, what's your name?"

"Travis" said the assistant quickly.

Then back to silence...

"At least I tied" thought Mal.

Another familiar ding rang around the metal room before the door opened and Mal was able to walk out. He didn't manage to say goodbye because he thought, all he was doing was making that guys shift harder then it has to be.

Walking down the main lobby and out the front windows ye stops before he reaches the sidewalk to find his car..

"It's raining. I can't walk in the rain It'll fry my servos" He thought.

So since Mal had no umbrella he decided to use the shirt he had on. He took it off and put it over his head, lifting the front parts with one of his hands. Luckily he did see his car off in the distance, so he ran. When he got to his car he placed his suitcase on the top and got his keys out. Unlocked his car, threw the keys inside, locked his suitcase back up and threw it in there too. He ran to the other side and jumped into the drivers seat. Finally away from the rain he let out a long sigh or relief. Checked his phone and started his car.

A couple minutes later he made it to his house. This house was grey and red colored with a tiny picket fence around the tiny front yard and there were windows on each side of the house that had planter boxes underneath them, in those planter boxes are one Venus fly trap each. These sort of just grew overtime, Mal didn't know they would appear but gladly they act as guard dogs so Mal kept them.

As Mal looked out of his windows at the plants they slowly bobbed their head in excitement to see their master coming home. Mal put the shirt back on his head and grabbed his belongings, ran to his front door and gave his plants a pat on the head before going in. They squeaked and purred when his hand touched their head.

"Good boys" Mal said before going inside.

Mal's house was a small one, the kitchen was connected to the dining room and the living room. The bedroom was to his left and it had a tiny bathroom connecting to the same hallway to his bedroom.

Mal placed his suitcase down on the coffee table to his right and took off his clothing, he was soaked. Throwing those in the laundry basket in the bathroom Mal walked over to his room to put on some black velvet pjs (His favorite) on. After that he took his suitcase, cleaned the water off of it and placed it in his room on the side of his bed. He took out his phone and laid in his bed, getting comfortable. He turned on his phone and the light burnt his eyes..

"Damn brightness" he murmured to himself.

After letting his eyes dial onto the screen he saw one message... From Vox.
