Only a glimpse of its face could be shown, but it wasn't enough when it instantly jumped off of you and kneeled over onto the ground, its hands on its face to cover it, grunting and whaling in a raspy voice.

You sat up quickly, gasping as air filled your lungs once again. The entity's mask in hand, you quickly got up to pick up your phone and was heading to the fuses, before the entity began to cry and sob, whispering something to itself.

You watch as the entity curls up more, sobbing and whispering, this is the perfect opportunity to grab the fuses and run, get to safety...but...as it continued to sob..it's raspy voice slowly became sweeter, softer, kinder.

It's obviously a trick, classic horror game cliche..but your morals got the better of you. Picking up the fuses, you head over the entity, slowly getting closer and closer to it.

You used your phone flashlight onto the entity to get a better look, but as you did the entity twitched, crawling away from the light. You took away the light, going up to the entity and kneeling down right beside it.

You put down the entity's mask beside you, using your free hand to reach towards its back.

".. H-Hey..?" You said quietly, placing your hand gently onto its back, but instantly it jolted, sitting up on its knees and facing towards you, growling and grunting all while you fell backwards, sitting on your butt as you stare back while your heart begins to race again.

But, for some reason, your heart is set easier when you see its face..her face.

The entity..she's a girl, a young woman. Her face covered with small scars all over, her bright blue eyes with her pupils dilated, and tears running down her cheeks and falling onto the floor. Her teeth, gritted to look imitating like a wild animal.

You both stared at eachother, not one of you making a move to do anything, not even the girl is attacking you like she did before, but just stared until her grunts turned into sobs again.

She drops her arms down onto the floor, crying again with her soft voice. You gulped down your racing heart and slowly got back up, crouching down to her level and getting closer again.

"I'm sorry..I'm sorry..I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry.." She repeated to herself.

"Hey..hey are you okay?" You spoke softly to her. You get up to her, and hesitantly you gently put your hands onto her shoulders (which is normally a bad idea-)

She tensed up a bit, letting out a shaky breath through her tears, her head facing downwards the floor.

"I..I-I didn't mean it..I didn't mean to do it..I-I'm sorry..."

"What the hell? How does a crazy masked person hell-bent on killing turn into...this?" You said to yourself. And yet..you want to comfort her, you want to make sure she's okay despite how she just tried to kill you.

Slowly taking your hand off her shoulder and gently putting it onto her cheek, lifting her head up to look at you as you look back at her.

One hand on her shoulder, the other on her cheek, you both stare at eachother's face. You examine the small scars she has onto her face, but the more you stare the more at ease you feel. Using your thumb, you stroke her cheek, running your thumb gently over one of her scars.

As for her, she stared back into your eyes, her eyes widening as blood rushed to her cheeks, blush growing onto her face, and all you could do was smile at her as you stare back into her bright blue eyes.

A few seconds go by, and she tilts her head down to look at the floor again. You're confused..and concerned..but just before you can ask anything she tackles you again! But..not like before. This time, her arms were wrapped around your waist, her face buried into your collar bone, small sobs and tears fall from her face again.

"It's making me do this..I-It's making me do things I don't want to do..!"

She spoke, her voice shaky like before, gripping onto your shirt tightly.

"It? Who's it? What's doing this to you?" You spoke with concern, slowly sliding your hands up her waist, gently holding onto her. You turned your head to look at her, but you can only see the top of her hood.

"..What is your name..?" She asked, her voice was still and calm, lifting her head as she rests her chin onto your shoulder.
