Wilhelm and his parents were on their way to watch the fireworks. He took on the other half of the necklace he gave to Simon. They got there and he found a good place to watch the fireworks.
Simon, his mom and sister, Rosh and Ayub were gonna go watch the fireworks now. He still haven't taken the necklace off. When they got there Simon looks after Wilhelm.
Simon saw Wilhelm and were going towards him.
"Hey." said Simon with a trembling voice.
"Hey." said Wilhelm with a soft smile. "How are you?"
"Well I guess I'm good. And thank you for the gift." says Simon biting his lip. "How are you?"
"I'm good. And also thank you for your gift."
They smiled at each other while looking in each others eyes.
"I saw the news." said Simon.
"Everything I said was true. I felt so dumb cause I did what my parents said. They can't control my love! And the truth is that I love you."
It was a few seconds of silence.
"I love you too."
They hugged tight. Some people were looking at them, and some were filming.
"I have on the necklace you gave me. I took it on when it was Christmas and haven't taken it off after that." said Simon as they broke apart.
"I have it on too."
They tried to set it together so it's gonna be a heart.
"You're not my secret anymore, Simon. If you still wanna be with me."
"Yes I still wanna be with you." said Simon.
Their heads went forward...and then they kissed.
It felt just like before. They were deeply in love.
They looked around as they heard clapping and cheering. People were filming and taking photos of what happened.
Then a girl came towards them.
"Are you two boyfriends?" asked the girl standing in front of them.
They looked at each other.
"Yes." answered both at the same time.
"I'm happy for you." said the girl as she walked away.
They laughed and smiled while they looked at each other.
"I'm for sure not going back to Marieberg now." said Simon as they laughed more.
"Good." said Wilhelm taking Simon's hand.
They held hands as people started to count.
"10!"
"9!"
"8!"
"7!"
"6!"
"5!"
"4!"
"3!"
"2!"
"1!"
People started to cheer when they shot up the fireworks.
Simon and Wilhelm kissed.
